you gotta find it blood.. go get you that obama money... but no really just apply for federal grants. i got a pell grant and csu grant for about 6k this year. tuition was 3400 books was another 300 hundred and had to buy a parking pass and pay off some shit. I make a lot of cash money that i forget sometimes to report to the irs and qualify for that shit. i dunno what the cutoff is or whatever but i still had reported close to 20k last year and got that shit again when i reapplied

i was not expecting to get any grants cuz my income was higher

I could probably get some serious student aid since I'm married and the only one paying the bills, I need to get with the program and apply for that shit. All they gave me was loans when i applied for it when i went to tech school which i'm still paying back. NAU costs about 5 grand a semester and i don't want to get stuck with any more student loans. I worked full time and took 3 sometimes 4 classes a semester and got a 3.9 GPA, thats gotta count for something.

i had to put my folks down because I was unemployed for a while, so when I applied for financial aid I got barely anything, but just waiving the tuition fees at junior college helps, next semester ill declare myself independent and put myself down so I can get the full pell grant and alot more financial aid.

I think I'd rather do loans then take handouts from the government
the government makes more off you with a college degree than if you don't have one. degree = you make more money that they get to take out of your check. imo they should help out a bit i been payin 8% on damn near everything ive bought since i been in school there just throwin a little bit of that back to get me my edumacation

poor girl wants to marry, rich girl want to flirt. rich man goes to college and the poor man goes to work. college is a fuckin joke get a little dirt on your hands
theres nothing wrong with getting dirt on your hands breh. but when you have a dad who loses a hand working in a shop it puts things in perspective. I know 60 year old guys working in shops who say they still have at least 15 years before they retire. I'm 26 going on 27 i dont want to work in a sweat shop for the next 40 years hoping i can retire on time.

I'm looking to better myself so that when i have a family it will better them too.

Anyone starting school right off the bat it would be advisable to do your 100 and 200 level classes and get an associates at a community college. It is like 1/4 the price and most of the time the classes are more fulfilling and people learn more out of them because of smaller class sizes. I am doing my 4 year degree within the walls of a community college through an extended campus partnership between NAU and the Maricopa Community College system.

If you are younger you may want that traditional college experience with the dorms, frats and all that shit, I personally just want the education. Theres plenty of little tenderonis at the community colleges too though lol even though ASU girls blow them out of the water!
