I know there are a lot of people on these boards who are in college, so I thought it'd be interesting to see what everybody is studying. What's your major, what do you want to do with it, etc...Also, where do you go to school?

I'm studying physical anthropology at the SRJC. I haven't a clue what I'm gonna do with an anthro degree, but at least the subject is interesting and it keeps me in school. The downside is that I have to take a shitload of chemistry and math classes, which is interesting but quite stressful.

So, what are ya'll studying?

Im taking classes at Western International University, its a correspondance school (thing university of Phoenix)
Im studying for my AD in Human resources. I would like to get a position in administraion for professional wrestling
Right now Im studying Algebra and philosophy. And so far Im fucked....

I'm about 6 months away from completing my Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of New Mexico, finally........

I attend cal state ebay and majoring in accounting. If all goes well i'll be done in Spring. afterwards i plan on taking the cpa exam

as the name says, i went to usc and i studied business... hell yes my degree has helped out... i graduated may 2004 and i work for an online info. service provider company here in sf. i miss school though, so i am taking a night class or two next semester at the local community college... there was no way i could've afford to go there, but luckily i got lots of scholarships from usc and private organizations - there is lots of money out there, you just got to look hard... i might go back to get my mba in 2-3 years, but i love where i work, so i have no plans on leaving anytime soon...

im in my second year of college and i also work at an elementary school...im not really too sure what im gonna major in but im thinking childhood development or child psychology....im just trying to get a degree, i wanna be a cop though...everyones probly gonna talk shit now but whatever

officially "taking some time off" from school. i'm a semester away from completion of a BA in International Relations - Global Security w/ focus on Latin America and a BA in Political Science (i was a double major). Currently a wage slave, trying to find a way to make enough money to go back to school in a year or so and move back to the city.

I work in a job with a bunch of people that have completed degrees in all kinds of business (finance, business management, etc). I don't have a degree and didn't study business, but make as much as them (still shit though).

yes, people succeed in life and work without degrees, but for someone to think a degree wont help them is dead wrong (not saying anyone said that in this thread, just thinkin gout loud)....no, just because you get a ba or bs doesnt guarantee you 50 gz starting out, maybe not even 40gz, but after u get some good work experience under your belt, and can also put on your resume you graduated college, you will have so much more opportunities, and so many doors open to you than just a person who worked the same amount of years........

i went to sac state and graduated with a BA in Communication Studies. I graduated in may 2005 and my first real interview session is this friday. hopefully all goes well. i have noticed that a lot of jobs want experience on top of degrees which is the hard part. a lot of what i saw when i was first looking would have me taking a paycut from my management position that i have but i guess sometimes one has to take a step back to take a few steps forward. luckily, if i land this job i will actually be starting at what i already make so well see...

im currently doin my GE in a community then hopefully transfering to cal poly or chico.(cal poly first choice) and getting a ba in animal science then got the vetinary school at uc davis. i want to be a Vet for large animals like cows horse etc.
