#5 West Virginia at #18 South Florida

Last year, USF put an end to a surging WVU team in Morgantown, as they upset the Mountaineers and ruined their shot at a possible run at the NC game. This year, both teams looked improve, as White and Slaton are both Heisman candidates and Noel Devine, all 5'7" of him, has added another dimension of speed to WVU's offense. USF QB Grothe will need a big game to make this a good one, as they try to once again shatter WVU's dreams of a possible NC.

Kansas State at #7 Texas

Texas is holding they #7 ranking with all there will as they have looked very mediocre in games against Sun Belt's Arkansas St and C-USA's Fla Intl. They will face a solid defense of a KSU team that almost upset Auburn in Auburn a few weeks back. The Wildcats are lead by So. Josh Freeman, with help from RB James Johnson, try and find the final kink in the Longhorns' armor.

Michigan State at #9 Wisconsin

MSU is flying high after they gave ND a major beat down last week. Just like Texas, Wisconsin looks a bit shaky, as they have "survived" two straight games, one against UNLV. Wisconsin is going to have to prove their #9 ranking against a tough conference foe in the Spartans.

Maryland at #10 Rutgers

Maryland’s stout defense will have its hands full of Ray Rice this week as the ACC and Big East square off. Rutgers is off to another great season while UM is still trying to find themselves after they let 1 24-3 lead slip out of their hands against WF.

#13 Clemson at Georgia Tech

Without Choice in GT's backfield, the Yellowjackets look for an answer on offense. Clemson needs not worry about their backfield, as they may have the best tandem in the nation in Davis & Spiller (or Thunder & Lighting as they are referred to). The most impressive so far, however, has been QB Cullen Harper of Clemson, putting up stellar numbers this year. GT will have to bring their best defense to tame the Tigers offense.

Louisville at North Carolina State

Louisville has been somewhat of a different team than expected, losing to an up and coming Kentucky team. However, they did let MTST score 40+ points in a shootout, as the defense has been less than stellar. NCST has a rough going as well under new coach O'Brien. Maybe UL's soft defense will help the Wolfpack score some points and pull out a win at home.

UNLV at Nevada

Its the Battle for Nevada, as the teams play for the Fremont Cannon and Nevada leads the all-time series 17-15.

#22 Alabama at Florida State

FSU has been a roller coaster team this year, having terrible first halves and coming out refreshed in the second. Alabama is coming off a very tough loss at home in OT to an inspired but young Georgia team. Each team has something to prove in this game and the winner may gain some serious confidence in finishing out their conference games.

Pittsburgh at Virginia

UVA may be better than some thought, as they go against a down Pitt team. UVA is not out of the ACC running yet, but getting past another OOC team is in order first.

Colorado State at TCU

With a disappointing start for TCU, this is their chance to get back on track in the conference. CSU looks to do the same as they are looking for their first win of the season.

Auburn at #4 Florida

Last week, The Gators looked very human against a below average Ole Miss team. This week, yet-to-find-themselves Auburn goes into Gainesville to try and capitalize on a lowered-morale Florida team. Can Tebow carry the team if they struggle for a second week in a row?

Brigham Young at New Mexico

BYU already has a conference win, and New Mexico looks to do the same. Right now, the MWC is WIDE open and now is the time to start on the road to be the conference champion.

GAME OF THE WEEK

#6 California at #11 Oregon

This may be one of the best games anyone will catch this year. Two powerhouse offenses go onto the field as Dixon and Longshore square off in the battle of the unbeatens in the Pac-10, vying for, at the moment, the second spot on the conference behind #1 USC. Dixon is having a fabulous year, especially after beating down Michigan in the Big House. Longshore and his slew of fast and very quick weapons will look to use all that speed to outscore Dixon & Co. The only thing that will slow this game down are TO's, which may ultimately decide who comes out victorious. On the other hand, this may turn into a heavyweight matchup that sees the defense step up and make it a low scoring, slugfest. Let’s hope not, as the Pac-10 is known for its barn burners.

Auburn is NOT a good team. They almost got beat by KSU at HOME, and then lost to USF. Brandon Cox is a shitty QB and they will get brutally beatdown this weekend in The Swamp.

I'M GONNA TAKE OREGON, EVEN THO I LIKE DA BEARS...AUZEN GOES CRAZY UP THERE...12TH MAN GIVES THEM THE EDGE
Cal's defense is still under question, and Oregon's has played solidly, yet they let Stanford and Houston score over 30 points on em...that can be dangerous for a team that has players like DeSean, Best, and Forsett.

Im curious if you saw either of Oregon's games because I didn't but I know especially in college its pretty easy to get a score that isn't reflective of the performance. I mean take almost all of Cal's games, they should have put up more points against Tennesse if they hadnt fumbled at the end of the game on the one, were up 20 or so on CSU and were up 20+ on AZ and when the games were out of reach the teams snuck back in. I am just curious if you seen the defense play because besides Michigan which was a smackdown I havent seen their games.

Oregons D looked good against UM becuase they were still shell shocked from the APP St. loss. THey let Stanford score alotta points in their game, but completely shut them down in the 2nd half...i mean it was like two different teams. Cal's defense isnt the greatest, but its OK.
