why are you even paying medical bills? it goes on your credit yes...but medical bills cant be used against you like a car note or credit card, phone bill etc....

i have nothing but medical bills on my credit...doesnt effect my score at all...fuck them
i read somewhere they can put a lien on your paycheck.. sumthin like 25% of ur paycheck daily and they can take away anything u own like cars or land

i had a friend do that too...he didnt use anyone but himself to do it though...basically he was on the ball with it...he actually killed a lot of debt because he did that

he also would also mail letters to the collection agencies and tell them what he could pay monthly and if they declined his offer then it could be thrown out in court because they refused his payments lol....sounds fake but it worked he showed me many letters

if a collection agency wants a minimum payment of 25 and you tell them you can do 5...and they decline it they fucked themselves

or you can wait until you get that letter saying you can settle the debt for 75% off what was owed...or you can just ask what the minimum they would accept to settle now...if they say the whole amount tell them to keep billing you...i owed t-mobile 400 and change...and got a letter to settle for 75.00....i was like fuck yea i'll do that

i wouldn't settle with these collection agencies for less what you owe. if you do, it will show on your credit report as settled for less than amount owed, or something to that effect.

mine shows "settled" or "closed"

would it matter if it said less than amount owed? that collection agency bought the debt they made the choice to get what they could

debt is settled regardless what they try and help you with

If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Although CA laws are slightly different than WA laws.
You think theres anyway i could just contiue payin them monthly like i was?? i mean i didnt miss a payment they just messed up in processing it.. its taken out of my bank account monthly. Theyd be pretty stupid to not take that offer of me payin them instead of not payin them.

oh yeah...it has to be a letter sent certified with signature so you know they received it

if they decline the offer or fail to answer then the debt can be appealed....im pretty sure you have to go to court to have it wiped doing this...probably why people charge to do this for you...save you time with the legal stuff...i'll call my friend and ask him...its been awhile since he did it...i think i got most of it correct though

see that's why i just paid dude to do it cuz i don't know all the little details. my credit was fucked up for years off some stupid little shit here and there, phone bills, bounced checks, dumb shit i fucked up on when i was like 18-19 years old. $100 a month for six months to fix my credit, and not even pay the creditor shit, was hella worth it to me.

no. here the government pays for all medical bills. when people earn over a certain amount they pay an extra 1% tax if they dont get private health insurance. basically it means if you cant afford insurance they will pay for you
