Cold World Hustlaz- Iceland
I was just bumpin this for the first time in a minute. It brought me back for realz, I would have to say that this album would have to be one of the all time greatest to come out of the bay. Takes me back to high school and shit. Every track is dope, it has everything from party type tracks to serious real life topics shit. not too many features, but the features they did have, forget about it. Cougnut, Andre Nikatina and UDI etc.. All the way through- FUCKING CLASSIC

I know my BART cats feel me on this. I can't say one song is my favorite but post up what yalls are. I'd be interested to see what yall say.

I was fortunate enough to be at cat from UDI's b-day last year at studio Z where cold world made an appearence along with UDI, 11-5 and big mac. They did Cold Day in Hell (among others from all the clicks albums). One of the best shows I have ever seen in my life.

And btw - I remember when me and DJ Mark7 aka DJ Kaos ( at the time ) drove down to Frisco from Santa Rosa, specifically to "Mo Music", and bought the OG "Iceland" ( before BlackMarket signed em ) from Showtime when he ran that joint on Hayes St. near Haight/Ashbury. At that time I would go in there and ask Sho "Hey, what new shit got Cougnut on it?" and thats what he pulled out. One of the best albums of all time. For many years after that, Sho happily provided me with all kinds of Frisco shit that influenced many folks here in the 707. On a side note, me and Mark7 bought St. Ides jerseys with matching hats that day lol. Good times.

Goddamn right Dubb.

When me and Mark7 aka Kaos talk about this Bay shit, its because we REALLY were there from the birth of Bay Area rap I.E. APG, IMP "Gangsta Rock N Roll", 415 and Hugh E MC. Mark was in the early videos for Ray Luv, he was in Master P's video "Peace To The Streets" off the "West Coast Bad Boyz" comp, he used to DJ for the Young D Boyz back in the day when they were on top, he produced many cuts for N2Deep as well as Young Dru - point being, we've been around for a while. I still have hours of videotape of Cougnut freestyling to Mark7's beats. Good times. Sorry for the ranting and raving, I'm shitfaced.
