I agree 100%,that's what will hold back the so called "movement".Cat's got to understand that you gotta come with your own twist on this hyphy shit and not follow whats already been done 100 times before.I'm listening to more san quinn, mess and cats like that cause im tired of everyone jumping on this hyphy shit and fuckin it up.

the hyphy movement was a good look for the bay, any movement that directly or indirectly increases the sales of rappers CD's in those particular areas...is a good thing.

its made a few people who maybe never even payed attention to the bay area as a whole, maybe buy the new san quinn album or buy a old luniz or a hieroglyphics album.. all in all it was a great thing and im sure its helping alot of peoples pockets because it makes people study up on an areas artists. as long as theres fans, thats tight.

In this forum, i think there was a point of time in the 'bay coming back' that people felt like any little push helped...so they would support any and everything out the bay in hopes that it made them be the next hot area in america to blow up. and theres record labels trying to advertise on this site so theres alot of yes men. so everyones going to be allergic to honest opinions and call it hating..

anywho, my personal opinion.. id rather hear mobb music back in the forefront

^^^ your right,I just hope that we keep getting quality work in between all these cats trying to copy whats already been done.I also hope that we get a mixture of shit, mob music still has a place in the hyphy movement.I think short new shit proves that you dont have to change shit all up to fit in.

That explains a lot, you give an opinion here and you get at least one bullshit reply back.
