I think I have gotten to that age where I really dont concern myself with what brands I wear. If i like it, ill wear it. However, I dont buy clothes that often anymore, so it is more or less irrelevant. I would rather spend my money on shit like stereo equipment and vacations.

I STAY AWAY FROM TRENDS...THATS A FAIL WAITING TO HAPPEN. THINK PARACHUTE PANTS OR VISORS WORN UPSIDE DOWN.

POLO CARGO SHORTS, GLOBE CASTROS AND LUCKY BRAND, MARC ECKO SHIRTS IN THE SUMMER.

LRG JEANS, GIRBUADS WITH THICKER SHIRTS IN THE WINTER. I GOT A HOODIE COLLECTION: GIRBAUD, LRG, MARC ECKO, COOGI, TRUE RELIGION...

AS FAR AS SHOES I GOT A BUNCH BUT IM STICKING TO NIKES FROM NOW ON. NIKE SB AND JORDANS ON MINES.

BUT SPENDING MONEY LIKE CRAZY ON CLOTHES IS NOT THE BIZ. I FIND THAT FUNNY. A FITTED MOTHERFUCKER CAN CLOWN BUT AT THE END OF THE DAY THEY GOT LINT IN THEIR POCKETS AND MY BANK ACCOUNTS ARE SITTIN FAT. CLOTHES DONT GAIN VALUE. BUY CLASSIC LOOKS AND YOU WONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT HAVING THE LATEST LOOKS. THEN JUST SPEND MONEY ON ACCESSORIES TO FIT THE TRENDS IF THATS YOUR THING.

SPEAKING OF INVESTMENTS, ANYONE HERE HAVE AN INVESTMENT PORTFOLIO? I NEED TO STEP MY INVESTMENT GAME UP. YOU CAN LOSE MONEY CHASING WOMEN BUT YOU WONT LOSE WOMEN CHASING MONEY!

BREH I DONT NEED HELP. ESPECIALLY WHEN IT REQUIRES BEING NICE. THIS IS THE SICC. IM JUST WONDERING WHAT PEOPLE ON THE SICC ARE INVESTING IN AND HOW ITS WORKING FOR THEM. CONTRIBUTE IF YOU LIKE. I JUST FEEL IT WOULD BE IRRESPONSIBLE ON MY PART TO SPEAK ON BUTTER (OR SWAG, WHATEVER YOU CALL IT) WITHOUT SPEAKING ON MAKING MOVES TO BE IN A POSITION TO DO THAT.

I enjoy new clothes.

but I haven't spent money on clothing in months.

I'm not really one to have brands pasted all over me.
shit, that's why I stopped buying J's. Jumpmen everywhere now.

I usually scoop up some new Levi's, and some button-ups.
shopping at the mall is for lames, unless you're just getting common stuff.

I GOT A HOUSE (33% PAID FOR) THREE CARS (TWO PAID, LAST 75%) NO DEBT OTHER THAN THE HOUSE AND CAR. I WILL BE GOING TO SIT DOWN WITH MY BANKS FINANCIAL ADVISOR THIS WEEK. TRYING TO INVEST A TOTAL OF 10 TO 15K IN SEVERAL THINGS. LONG TERM AND SHORT TERM INVESTMENTS WITH VARYING RISKS. PREFERABLY LOW OF COURSE.

TO ALL THE SICC GOONS GET YOUR MONEY AND INVEST EARLY. I THINK A HOME IS PROBABLY THE BEST INVESTMENT TO MAKE FIRST, THEN TALK WITH A FINANCIAL ADVISOR. ONCE YOU ARE FINANCAILLY STABLE CLOTHES IS WHATEVER. BUYING $200 JEANS AND SHOES AINT SHIT. STILL A BAD CHOICE IN MY MIND, BUT ITS A FREE COUNTRY....

No offense, but this is very IFFY advice. It depends on where you live, how much money you make, etc. You may "OWN" a house in theory, but NEVER be able to pay it off...EVER. In fact, in many cases, people actually are better of RENTING than owning.

Money is not the end all, be all of happiness. However, our culture and society has taught us the exact opposite. Money runs our lives...and, like your names states, we are indeed "slaves to money". And no, thats not a GOOD thing.

Personally, I would rather give to a charity then invest. And I do.
