Absolutely not, the virgin Mary was simply a vessel used by God. The many you are referring to come from the study of catholicism or the catholic church.
Catholics are Christians...
Many hated, despised and thought that Jesus was blasphemouse because he mentioned he was the son of God. Therefore equating him with God in their eyes. The people at that time expected God to come in some magnificent glory and splendor, and when they saw the carpenter(Jesus) a lowly man. They thought he was crazy and showed their disbelief to him.
He was a lowly man. Not because he was a carpenter, but because he was a liar, or mentally insane.
To this day many still question his first coming. The key is in understanding the Godhead or the revelation of God being manifested in the flesh. Many doctrines will deny the deity of Christ, they will subdue him to a demigod or a great prophet.
Even the Jews don't believe Christ was divine.
Not quite true, the scriptures were not all written at the same time. Historical documentation will prove the chronological order so to speak. And the fact that the scriptures have endured its accuracy and has had no need for changing is enough in itself. Not to mention the countless principles, the endless amounts of guidance and direction it gives to every day life and need I remind you of the prophetical occurences mentioned that have all come to pass. That in itself is Masterful my friend. Find me another book that even tries to compare.
The 2 theories for how the books were written are that they were written together or written with knowledge of the previous book. That is why the passages are so similar. PROPHETICAL OCCURENCES??? NAME ONE!!! This is what the Bible did. They arranged hundreds of words/letters on pages. People took it upon themselves to combine these words with no pattern or sequence. Name one event the Bible predicted!
I have heard of the apocrypha and understand their were books that were supposedly added and lacked authenticity. The emphasis shall be placed on the word added.
Enoch came several hundred years BEFORE Christ. He is mentioned in the Bible.
More importantly, what about the fact that the bible say to forsake not the assembling of yourselves together? I mentioned Jesus was everywhere implying his Omnipresence, Everywhere present at the same time.I know many make the argument of living for God being a personal relationship between the individual and him. And I agree wholeheartedly, They however use it to show that they don't need the structure or instruction from a person appointed by God to minister to them.
You would know better than me if the Bible says this.
It remains comical to me that their is structure in everything we do in life to some degree or another. Teachers to teach in education, Doctors, lawyers even Police for protection etc.. But throw in God and the structure has to go out the door. Everyone and their mom has an opinion about God but few will draw the line, substantiated their belief with documentation or confirmation.
Can anybody supply proof to the existence of Christ or the authenticity of this illogical, unrpovable religion?
I don't need assistance, I dont need the church, I don't even need God. To each his own. God even loves you my friend, despite your lack of knowledge, comprehension and desire to know him. He will still come to knock on the door of your heart and question "now is it a good time for me to come in to your life?" No matter how much we deny we need him, we will still need him period. He is the perfect gentleman.
I'm not saying there is no possibility at all that there is a God...it is just not the Christian God that many speak of.
Many have already hated, showed their disbelief, were theist, atheist etc.. when he walked among them in times of old. He did mention it would continue long after he would be crucified.
So if they did it in his face when they had all the proof they needed, what more will this generation try when he isn't physically on the scene? Hmmmmmmmmmmm.

I don't agree with you but I can respect your misguided views.
Here is the info on the book of Enoch:
Genesis 5 mentions Enoch. Hebrews 11 answers one of Jude's questions, and it quotes Enoch. The brother of Jesus, James, also quotes Enoch. Enoch was Noah's grandfather. This text was believed to have survived the flood, but Christians have rejected the truth inside of it for many reasons. It was written hundreds of years before the birth of Christ. (More archaeologists and historians are finding evidence that proves Jesus did not even exist. This theory is becoming more accepted every day.) The book was concealed by the church for many years...why?
