Topic of the thread:

Christianity is based on Egyptian Myths - Jesus Christ is Horus?

^^^Given my general knowledge of the Egyptian-Horus myth, along with scholarly inquiries from the relevant sources in Egyptology, history, and ancient humanities, I say NO! I've provided my own rebuttal, along with a more elaborate one and no one seems up to the task of trying to debunk these widely established facts, as it concerns the Egyptian falcon deity of Heru. In turn, I only receive some irrelevant babble about logic and Christ not being the son of God. At the end of the day, any blind person can see how hopeless of a tactic this is.

I'm pissed off that library of alexandria got burned down, though
You can blame the Muslims or Romans for that.. If it was from the Islamic incursions, then they are also responsible for the decimation of the face on the Sphinx(as is reported in their own records). Probably considered it all to be pagan influenced, fuckin assholes.

Yeah

If it wasn't for the damned war......

What do you think was the exact cause and/or reason for muslims or romans to take place in order to interfer with egyptians? Enviousness over resources and their values, popularity or even for having their own beliefs?

Muslims despised all that was non-muslim so if they were to see anything that was contrary to the Islamic scripture, they sought to destroy it. Claims that Julius Caesar did it were based on battle accounts, where he was forced to burn the library, in war. I'm not sure how much envy would have played a factor and the Library of Alexandria was actually founded by Greeks, during their occupation in Egypt. I wouldn't say that it was a legacy of ancient Egypt, but of Egypt most definitely. Though again, it was established and maintained by Greeks so I'm not sure if jealousy was a factor.

I can tell. You must have recently taken or are taking a Critical Thinking class, due to the fact that you are pointing out the use of rhetoric and fallacy every chance you get.
Everyone(hopefully) has taken that class, I haven't taken it in a couple of years though, so.. I only point it out when it is blatantly apparent and applicable.

WTF, seriously?

I mean, if I was to be a muslim leader or muslim, i'd respect other beliefs and values...weren't Greeks and Egyptians were together, though? So, therefore, the Library of Alexandria was founded, right? Caesar should've took more time to think before doing actions, IMO. I'm sure he did, but still. Do you think the others tried to control Caesar to take this action, too? You know, the unknown individuals.

Oh well

Guess humanity's fucked up in so many ways....but you can't forget and deny this, though.

That violence is a part of human culture.

What can you do?

Maybe not, but I do and can deny that Jesus and Horus were two indistinct entities..

We also must keep in mind that barbarism was a way of life in those days. When you conquer something, during that process you tend to destroy things. Most of the time they don't take cultural esteem into consideration, they don't take anything into consideration besides them selves which is the reason they're conquering things in the first place. These are mainly the dominant theories though since no one knows for sure what happened to Alexandria's library. My best bet would be the Muslims because during the Arab invasions they literally crumbled and pillaged everything they came across. It's a much deeper question to ask why, and yes it most likely just has to do with man's fallibility. We ask the same questions about slavery, murder, rape, etc, there are no easy answers other than that was either their way of life or inherent nature of the people involved.

I agree. What do you think that caused barbarism, though? Most likely because of the difference between humans, here and there, such as religions, thoughts, etc. Thus, leading to violence, and greed.

This is why there needs to be international laws, or more. And stricter.

I have to say, I can't give out too much ideas to internet, otherwise I must admit I feel somewhat becoming politically active.

But, in this case, I don't want to be P.A. which I'm trying not to. I don't need to be murdered over some bullshit.

Lack of resources and stability seem to be key factors. If you have a relatively large population trying to survive on limited resources, then they will either fight against each other or conquer other people who have what they need/want. Religion also, differences in belief and opinion. Like I've emphasized, Muslims despised and tried to conquer basically anything that was non-islamic. Then of course there is individual nature.

^Yea, but they won't be enforced as long as people lack resources and have differences in opinion.

I say to each his/her own, do what you need to survive and don't try and change the world because you most likely won't, and it will only stress you out or like you say, get you killed.

LOL jfr you are on point!!!!!!!! it was about three months ago that he started "trying" to come thru with using logical reasoning, i even remember saying the same thing to him at the time pointing out that he was starting to use the terminology. LOL even then i had to correct my little buddy cause he was pointing out the wrong fallacies then too just like he is now, so apparently he didnt learn shit form that class.
Hahaha! Are you fucking serious? LMAO @ these last resort arguments that people use when they are soundly defeated. You have pointed out not one thing and any terminology that is used is accurate, you only make loose claims that they are not while at the same time referring to them as "new words"(that you never heard before) as you rush to a dictionary. No one is calling your bluff, or the passive aggressive troll's(Jesse Rice).. Go breed a slave or something you damn failure..

this time period...ahem...coincides with a few verbal ass whoopings i laid on his mentor heresy in the preceding months.
Heresy has abused you on so many occasions that I've only had to abuse you once before and since then have written you off as a joke, which you further confirm today.

NOBODY (except maybe 20sixx) was talking about logic before i started calling out heresy on it and posting defitnions of the fallacies he was committing...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Okay, so now I get my style from a degenerate G.O.M. junky with a seemingly low IQ, I've seen it all I tell ya..

the next thing you know PB and heresy are trying to come at people, and usually only me, with all the logic jargon, and almost every time they are pointing out fallacies that arent even there cause i know how to phrase my shit to prevent that.
Obviously not as your entire post is an argument by way of false ad hominem...

amazing coincidence. LOL. and that fool didnt even bring me an apple after i schooled him and his big homie...can you believe that?

Delusions..

Yeah, I'm aware of this. It's like cats or dogs living in the big cage.

Yeah, same to you too. I never mentioned or implied to change the world, though. More stress equals more bullshit, I agree.

What about new world order, though? Are you against it? Please, don't say just because you have pride in your country, or race, whatever, I'm aware of this. But if you're, you can feel free to elaborate on other terms.
