Audioslave Is No More
The guys in Audioslave always seemed to treat their partnership as a kind of business arrangement rather than a creative force, and with the upcoming Rage Against the Machine reunion at this year's Coachella, Chris Cornell seems to have seen the writing on the wall and has drawn Audioslave to a close. After months of speculation, Chris Cornell announced in a statement he's quitting Audioslave to resume his solo career, saying "Due to irresolvable personality conflicts as well as musical differences, I am permanently leaving the band." Things have looked shaky in the Audioslave camp since last fall, when the band opted to stay home rather than tour for their third album Revelations amidst word Chris was starting work on a new solo project. Now, with Audioslave calling it a day and the impending Rage Against the Machine show at Coachella, it kind of makes you think there may be more to Rage's newfound civility than just a one-off show. Keep your fingers crossed.

Hopefully this has something to do with Rage Against the Machine getting back together. I know it's wishful thinking, but you never know.
