Corrales by late round TKO, probably has to pick himself off the canvas to get it done though. I predict a great fight, both guys do almost nothing but come forward. This one is definitely not for the weak of heart.

Mayn, Castillo was out tho. Homie looked like a straight rag doll, but that was a good fight. I wasn't expecting Corrales to stay on the inside like that but that was a crazy 10th round mayn. You can't really criticize Tony Weeks for that stop; Castillo was done. Yadamean, that was a good call.

Maybe it was me being heated...so I will semi-retract my statement, but still stick by it being a bad stoppage.

Chico was down twice in that round.
Castillo got hit with what...a 3 punch combination and its stopped?

Here is what it comes down to, technically.
1) Was Castillo is danger of being serioulsy injured? I dont believe so.
2) If Castillo went down, would he have been able to stand for two and a half rounds? I believe so.

What would boxing be if there was a stoppage everytime someone got dizzy against the ropes?

A bad stoppage IMO, but not the worst of the year. The worst of the year would have to be Cotto vs Corley.

i feel what your sayin but i still see it as a good stoppage ... if the guy is gettin beat dead on the ropes and aint fightin back , the ref has to stop it ......

but i feel your point too , if he fell down , he couldve got up and got his head together , but i see it as he wouldve stayed on the ropes and took more brutal shots...

Could Castillo have gone another two and a half round? Maybe, maybe not, but if you see how fast that shit was going I think it was a good call. It's hard to say, but it definitely looked like Castillo was out and just taking hits. I feel you on what you're saying tho, perhaps Weeks stopped it a lil too early, but I think given how fast that was developing he made a good call.

After Corrales spit his mouthguard out twice tho, I thought for sure the fight was gonna be over.

REMATCH! PPV for big money, they deserve to be paid a lot of money, they fought like two pittbulls. PPV/rematch ASAP! It was the best fight I've seen in a while. I thought Chico was done, but then he comes back and KO's Castillo. After the scrap they had tonight, a rematch is a must. I just want to see them do it again.

Chico spit his mouth piece out to buy time...just like Frietas did against Chico. Time is bought during the point deduction. Chico's corner takes 20 seconds to put a mouth piece back in. Im not trying to pull out alot of IF's, but IF Chico didnt pull that and just got a standard 8 count...he would have been done for.

Im done bickering (yes, Im know Im buggin).
Now here probably comes a PPV match. Most likely an undercard to a bigger event though. That match as a headliner wont cut it.

That stoppage was completely according to the book. I have never seen a fighter get a standing count or recover from the condition Castillo was in. His hands were down and his chin was tee'd up to be knocked the fuck off. He was in no position to protect himself. He was OUT.

Any time a fighter is hung up on the ropes, his head is snapped back and his arms fall that tells you he is out on his feet and needs no more punishment.

Yes Corrales spit his mouthpiece out with both knockdowns and he did get penalized for it after the second incident.

Castillo let his guard down thinking Corrales was more hurt than he was and he paid the price for it period.

^^^ Damm. Dont get too cocky, Morales is too much for Corrales. Let's see what Chico can do against Pac Man first.

A.Geezy - Who is that in your sig? Looks familiar.
