No... Its that New York will get behind anything from New York. If Hyphy somehow started in New York then half of America would be shakin their dreads right now but since all you hear in Hip-Hop magazines nowadays is how New York needs to make a comeback then of course theyre gonna support all of their artists.

lol Come on man. Do you really think street cats in NYC are listening to that crap? The underground scene in NYC is huge. It's your average hip hop listener that is force fed this kind of crap...your average Joe from NYC and the Bay Area included.

I do agree with you saying that it's easier for crap like this (Chicken Noodle) than crap from the bay (think Vans) to get on the radio/TV being from NYC because that where the Industry is. Maybe all these Bay Area rapper should put down the Hyphy Juice and Thizz for a second and hop on the Yellow Bus and take a trip to NYC and network and promote around the city where the Industry is. A few already have and they all got positive feedback from doing it from those Industry bosses.

Just my two pennies.

i dont know if me and you are in the same bay area as each other but me personally i love to supprt bay music as much as the next man,but there is a shitload of garbage cds goin around, that 5 and 10dollas be addin up,and most of the times they be bedroom recordings with horrible mixing or no mixing at all.

get of the mediocre shit and put some real effort in this cds,and learn how too approach a potential customer

I don't agree. To me, good music is good music; nevermind the origin of where it is coming from. I would never support a song like Chicken Noodle Soup just because the artist happens to be from my city or area. I would much rather support someone across the country who is actually talented and puts out good music instead of trendy meaningless crap.

I think the support and where you coming from is cool and all but I know plenty of cities where there is plenty of support for the hometown artist (many Chicago artists) and they still ain't blown up. Its the song's promotion and where its taken place HARLEM as you say, and who these people know.

There's more people who can connect you to the top in NY then the Bay as far as music goes.
