TIME TO START A NEW ONE. LAST ONE KINDA DIED BUT I KNOW IM NOT THE ONLY BULLS FAN HERE. BEFORE OTHER FOLKS COME IN THE BULLS THREAD AND COME SIDEWAYS, WE KNOW WE ARENT THE BEST TEAM BUT WE DONT CLAIM TO BE. HONESTLY, I WASNT EXPECTIN MUCH FROM OUR SQUAD COMIN INTO THE NEW SEASON WITH THE SAME SQUAD THAT DIDNT DO SHIT THE YEAR BEFORE, AND A ROOKIE WHO I DIDNT EXPECT A HUGE IMPACT FROM. NOT TO MENTION, THE ROOKIE COACH WHO IS AN IDIOT AND IS GARBAGE BY THE WAY

STARTING IT OFF, CONGRATS DERRICK ROSE WITH THE SKILLS CHALLENGE WIN AGAINST GOOD TALENT, AND WHAT A WAY TO FINISH AND GET THE WIN

Talks between the Suns and Bulls regarding Amare Stoudemire have intensified, according to three people with knowledge of the situation.

CBSSports.com is reporting that the interest from Phoenix in working with the Bulls on a trade is because of their apparent increased desire to acquire Tyrus Thomas.

One rival executive familiar with the talks said Portland evidently is no longer an option.

THE HEAT WERE SUPPOSABLY THE ONLY THING HOLDING THE DEAL BACK BUT WITH THE HEAT DOIN THE MARION TRADE, WERE UP FRONT. HURRY UP AND GET IT DONE PAXSON

THERES NUTHIN DONE YET MAYNE. THE SUNS IS BITCHIN OUT RIGHT NOW. THE ORGANIZATION AS A WHOLE IS FALLING APART. THEY JUST FIRED THEIR COACH SO WE'LL SEE. IN THEIR PRESS CONFERENCE TODAY, THEY SAID THEY WERE GONNA END UP NOT TRADING HIM CUZ THEY MIGHT BE GOING IN A NEW DIRECTION. MIGHT ALL JUST BE GM TALK TO BLUFF FOR BETTER DEALS. HOPEFULLY WE GET IT DONE. ROSE, GORDON, DENG, STOUDAMIRE, AND NOAH WOULD BE A GOOD LINEUP

While Amare Stoudemire's name is still being linked to the Chicago Bulls, the latest scenario from the Chicago Sun-Times has the talented Phoenix Sun landing north of the border with the Toronto Raptors in a three way deal, with the Bulls landing Chris Bosh.

Gar Forman, the Bulls' director of player personnel who's expected to become general manager once John Paxson gives up day-to-day duties, reportedly has taken the lead in the talks with the Suns.

It is believed that the Bulls would give up the expiring contract of Drew Gooden, talented young forward Tyrus Thomas, and a first round draft pick in the deal.

The Kings agreed on Wednesday to a trade that sends forward John Salmons and center Brad Miller to the Chicago Bulls in exchange for forwards Drew Gooden and Andres Nocioni, according to league sources. The deal will reduce Sacramento's obligations next season, saving the Kings millions on the salary cap and keeping them well under any potential luxury tax payments. Gooden, making $7.15 million this season, will likely come off the team's cap after this year, and now, the team is free of the $5.4 million due to Salmons in 2009 and the $12 million due to Miller in '09.

I GUESS IMA BE UPPIN THIS THREAD AND TALKIN TO MYSELF. HA THANKS BULLS FANS

LOOKS LIKE WERE GONNA BE IN THE 2010 CHASE

The Bulls and Timberwolves are discussing a trade that would send Kirk Hinrich for the expiring salary of Jason Collins and possibly Brian Cardinal.

Hinrich is due $9.5 million next season, $9 million in 10-11 and $8 million in 11-12.

This trade would represent a salary dump for Chicago.

AND WHEN WE IN THE CHASE

That would make them serious players in the 2010 free agent market for -- you guessed it -- Chris Bosh. A source close to Bosh told me this afternoon that Chicago would be his first choice as a free agent destination that summer.

While another year and half of mediocrity might be too long for some Bulls fans, a core of Derrick Rose, Luol Deng, and Chris Bosh might be worth the wait.

The Knicks and Bulls are discussing a trade for Larry Hughes with the Knicks offering Malik Rose's expiring contract. Another player, perhaps Jerome James, would have to be sent to Chicago to make the deal work. Hughes' contract runs through the 2009-2010 season.

Nate Robinson might be included in the deal and David Lee's name has been mentioned as well. Lee's inclusion would mean Tyrus Thomas or Joakim Noah, whose game Donnie Walsh likes, would be sent to New York.

The Knick front office is split on whether to retain Lee as a restricted free-agent this summer. Some feel he has already hit his ceiling.

Miller and Salmons are not bad for Nocionni and Gooden fucc the scrubs though. Just hope Miller can play like he did a couple of year's ago with the Kings, but I heard a couple of rumors on NBA.com that my boy Ben G. is next to go or will be done at the end of the year- all I know we wouldn't have half the wins we do this year if it was'nt for him.Anyway Bulls are going to get better.

BEN GORON AINT GOIN NOWHERE. HE HAS TO AGREE ON WHERE HE GOES. ITS A PART OF HIS CONTRACT AND WE WILL MOST LIKELY LET HIM WALK AT THE END OF THE SEASON CUZ OF HIS ASKING PRICE. HE WANTS TOO MUCH MONEY

Iam still mad about trading Brand for Tyson Chandler, I knew the Baby Bulls were not going to work out. we could of done some damage with Brand, and since then we never had someone to score and garb some boards down low and that hurt us against the Heat a couple of years ago in the playoffs. Lets just hope Miller will get excited and step his game up to about 15 and 10 and about 5 dimes a night then maybe we can sneak back to the playoffs.

NUTHIN HURT US A FEW YEARS AGO IN THE PLAYOFFS AGAINST THE HEAT. WE SWEPT THEM. I THINK 15/10/5 IS ALOT TO BE ASKING OF MILLER BUT HOPEFULLY HE CAN DO IT. I THINK SALMONS IS GONNA HELP US ALOT. HE'LL PLAY BACKUP FOR DENG AND SPOT UP MINUTES AT SHOOTING GUARD. HOPEFULLY SEFALOSHA DOESNT GET NO P-T. HES GARBAGE

I WANTED A BIGGER TRADE BUT SALMONS, MILLER > GOODEN, NOCIONI SO IM KOO WITH IT. SIMMONS AND RUFFIN DONT EVEN PLAY SO THEY THROW AWAYS

As far as this chicago trade, I don't think its going to change the team for better nor worse. While brad is a decent center, hes still a big pussy.

I'm a Kings fan but I have to admit the Bulls came up on that trade. All they gave up was Nocioni and Gooden?

Salmons is a great scorer and Brad Miller isn't what he used to be but is better than Drew Gooden.
