Pulp was Buk's last published book, before he died. Bukowski is my favorite writer of all time, i started with Ham on Rye right after my dad died, and thats been my favorite. "Notes of a Dirty Old Man" is good, its pieces of his column he had in an underground LA newspaper. Ive read all of his novels, "Post Office", "Factotum", "Women" are all great. His poetry i havent read too much of, but thats because im not huge on poetry. I also have a book of his letters from the 60's and 70's and those are good. Id start with the novels if anyones interest.
edit: AND the main publisher of his works is a small press in Santa Rosa.
