Changing CDA to MP3...

How do I do that without buying a converter?

You can do it with Windows Media Player or iTunes. Just make sure that the output format is set to .mp3 (it'll be .wma in Windows Media Player by default, and .m4a in iTunes by default). There are other programs that can do it, but these are the most common.

ok, now im bein lazy. how would i go about doin that in windows media player? i have media player 11 & theres so much extra shit there i dont have time to figure out whats what? just give me a start...please. =)

Go to Tools > Option. Click on the Rip Music tab. Under "Rip setting" where it says "Format", change it from "Windows Media Audio" to "mp3". Put the CD in, go to Rip, select the track(s) you want to convert and click "Start Rip" in the lower right hand corner.

doesnt a .cda file not contain the actual song? usually there like 1kb... i might be mistaken..

Use CDEX, it's like the best free program you can use...
