Nice interview. Always liked Chammillionare, especially when hearing him for the first time on Balance's mixtape, think it had Stat Quo also. Too bad everything he talkin bout was 2005 or older type of shit, ie. Hyphy, ghostridin, etc. More proof that the bay to outsiders is just ghostriding hyphy fools going dumb on top of scrapers. I wonder if he knew that the dude interviewing him is a BAY LEGEND? Hmm, doubt it.

yeah i was wondering that too. if he knew that the guy interviewing him has surpassed him with a few albums of work than he will ever do. it does show you how much people know, even rapers are sheltered from the real independent music in this country. hes talking about soldier boy the whole time and talking about how mainstream music is when the only fool he bumped from the bay was too short he didnt know about no mac mall ray luv rbl posse etc etc. i wish some fools could get a classic run through of all the bay shit from the 90's to now and put everybody up on game.

i dont even like chamillionaire that much. nothing special about him to me.

Chamillionaire came a long ways, we should respect him for shouting out the bay. Hes one of the best in the mainstream thats for sure unfortunately both his albums have been disappointments.

ive got 300 posts being a member of the siccness since 2003 trust me i dont spend much time on the internet. and i dont expect them to know everything i just thought it was cliche' that he said too short was his dude from the bay. everything about the interview seemed cliche' to me, thats what i was speaking on that most dont know shit about underground anywhere not just the bay, they are just mainstream media people even the rappers in this country dont know. i have friends from new york that know all about dre dog/ andre nickatina brotha lynch mac dre mac mall san quinn rappin 4 tay etc and they bumped that shit at the ages of 16-17.

why didn't they ask him about that line on the intro to ultimate victory - crunk music hyphy music snap music somethin somehin i'ma call it crap music get a beat and rap to it
that's what I was thinking about

I wasn't sure if he was gonna say somthin good or bad about the Bay

I always liked Chamillionare though... even after he said that line... I don't expect everyone to like Hyphy music

shit... I barely even like Hyphy music anymore

i lived in texas the past 3 years and i never really met anyone that gave a fuck about bay artists because just like the bay texas has a huge underground scene that you can only hear of when your out there. you got san antonio, houston, dallas, austin, etc making some underground noise. ive seen it first hand and my tx homies didnt like hyphy. cant say i really felt it either though but old shit like dre dog, rbl, 11-5,udi, and cougnut....man thats classic. i like some hyphy but not all its kind of annoying after a while.
