This reminds me of this shit that happened at my old neighborhood. Neighbor's dog was allowed to roam loose and was shitting in random people's backyards. Then one day it disappeared.

Dog didn't come back home and the owners got really paranoid and worried, and were asking at people's doors if they'd seen their dog. I remember it was a terrier of some kind, so it was kind of small.

I don't know if anything ever came of this at ALL, because I didn't ask anyone anything after I moved out, but the owners got a note about it a few weeks later. Turns out a neighbor caught their dog and drove it 20 miles away, and released it into nature where it could " shit wherever he pleased".

I prefer cats over dogs, but I like all animals. I just wouldn't want a dog as a pet because they smell and require too much work. But that's just me. Some people like putting a lot of work into their pets. My cat is happy to see me when I come home, and he's like a child to me. Then again, so is my rabbit. I'm an all around animal person. ( I'm going to be that Cat lady from The Simpsons when I get older, just watch.)

What would you do if the neighbor's kids were running around in your yard destroying it? Lay down some rat poison candy? Or offer them coolant chocolate milk? I know that children take direction better than animals, but still.. You'd probably take it up with the parents.
