I remember taping so many mfkn songs off the radio, then taping other tapes, taping CDs to tapes, half-pushing the FF button so it sounded like chipmunks, recording over tapes I didn't like, and always making sure none of my cassettes came near any magnets.
India still sells almost all of their music exclusively in cassette tape format, because 1) most of the country is poor with outdated technology, and 2) Gulshan Kumar pioneered cassette tapes in that country.
