Out of them Def Jam, If Jigga hooked P Black with Kanye is would be over. I've heard Def Jam has been losing money ever since Hov took charge though so I don't know
Shady hasn't put out no one in awhile and there are too many co labels above them who all take slices of that companies profits.

There have been a couple NEW artists that get deals like that. If you're that sick, and you have 3 offers on the table...you can go to Shady and say, "Look, Def Jam offered me this, what can you do to beat it?" If you're dope, Shady will offer you more...and the wheels keep spinning til the artist is happy with his offer. It happens...any major label can make any OK or GOOD rapper a superstar...they have the money and the people to do that. The question is, how much do these labels want to put the artist out there? Bidding wars are not unheard of.
