Palmer said a year or two ago that he "hates the Steelers" (understandable) and now he says that he "really really hates the Buckeyes" (also understandable). But to be honest, opinion or not, going around talking about teams you hate makes you sound like a fucking bitch. Especially considering (correct me if I'm wrong) that he has never even played Ohio State.

This really isn’t that big of a deal.

You may get a few Buckeye fans that end up saying fuck Palmer and the Bengals…but they probably aren’t big Bengals fans anyway.

Real fans aren’t gonna care too much about this. You think they will stop going to Bengals games for something stupid like this?

If they win…they will show up no matter what.
I've been to Paul Brown Stadium twice and still haven't seen a Bengals fan.

But I do agree with you...if the Bengals win...they will show up. In their brand new jerseys that they just bought at Dick's the day before the game because somebody on the streets told them that the Bengals had a winning record. Bengals fans have pictures in the dictionary next to the word "bandwagon".

Apparently, you dont know die hard Buckeye fans. Aint you FROM Ohio?
Yes...and I do know die hard Buckeye fans…my whole Dad’s side of the family! Not only that…I am a Buckeye fan myself…although I despise the Bengals.

My whole point though...is that if these same die hard Buckeye fans were also REAL Bengals fans…some stupid comment from their QB isn’t gonna stop them from supporting their team.

Braylon Edwards played at Michigan…still wears his Michigan blue…and has made it pretty much known that he hates Ohio State.

But Cleveland still sells out all of their games and I will still wear my Edwards jersey!

your legion to a college football team doesn't change simply because you're now on an NFL team that plays in the same state.

It may not have been a smart decision to make these statements, but the guy is only being real.

Carson Palmer talk like the Big 10 is soft SC beat Illinois last year but so what. The Big 10 IMO is a stronger conference then the Pac 10 & USC of today is NOT fucking with Ohio State of today.

Arguments around college football are so circular since the conferences are never really matched up but don't forget that pounding Oregon put on Michigan last year.

I think if USC beats up on Ohio State the same way LSU and Florida did its going to leave the conference reeling a bit regarding bragging rights.
