yup. i actually drove with a buddy to the one in el centro or whatever the fuck hick town it was. this was when gas wasnt so expensive and we were high as shit...and probably had just watched harold and kumar months earlier and were inspired. it was on a martin luther king day too i remember cause neither of us worked.
in the end...the city it was in was a piece of shit and the food was good but nothing spectacular. def not worth the 1 hour drive.

i live in a prime location for fast food joints. within 5 minutes ive got in n out, del taco, taco bell, mcdonalds, jbox, wendys, arbys, subway etc. and carls jr shits on all of them. even fat burger which is a little more than 5 minutes away.
however, for any san diego folks who wanna have the dankest of all burgers go to hodads in ocean beach. holy shit that place is incredible. only bad thing is youll probably have to wait about 20 minutes to be seated cause its always packed. and you might leave feeling like youre gonna have a heart attack, but its a good heart attack thatll feel worth it.
but if you are feeling a little more health conscious, hit up chris' deli, also in ob. the sandwiches are amazingly good. its both a blessing and a curse having these places so close to me

OB is hella out of the way and every time i go there people ask me for weed

and for this year in n out won!?! and hodads in 2nd. theres no way in n out comes close. they gotta be paying channel 10 to win that award

canada steak burger might be between 34th and 38th im not sure..if youre going east its on the left hand side in a white and blue building.. other sides a liq store and across the streets a strip club
also check out lefty's pizza sort of in the same area for some deep dish action (north park)
cant think of any mexican food id suggest out in that area..but if youre ever in chula vista, theres some great shrimp burritos off of the 805 on palm avenue one exit before the 905, make a right when getting off and go in the shopping centre, right next to lil ceasers..bomb
they only serve a few things, not like a regular mexican spot that has 500,000 things and combinations..and the food tastes of better quality thanmost

theres one on palm avenue RIGHT BEFORE you have to make a left or right because you hit the beach in IB. theres a mexican girl that works there that looks like she should do porn. but i didnt tell you that.
try the beef sopes...only other place youre gonna get some good ass sopes besides a resteraunt is in PB on garnet next to music trader.

2550 5th avenue best philly outside of philly...if you are ever downtown at all..its semi in the financial dstrict so dont expect bad parking you can park next to the church two blocks west..no one goes there lol

ive heard a lot about mr a's. always figured it was expensive because of its location so never tried it. i remember someone on the radio who used to work there talking about the ownership being on some shady mafia type shit.
dont really go to the gaslamp often unless its baseball season. make a lot of trips to petco and sometimes tivolis bar afterward (across from stingaree)
