Caribou Lou in Relation to E-40

I may be thinkin about this too much, but hear me out...

In Caribou Lou, Tech mentions "since '95" they've been reppin the drink... and in the song, Big Krizz quotes the E-40 song "Carlos Rossi" with the line "once you become a member of my drinking club, you will find"

Take it back to November of 1995... The Click put out the CD "Game Related" that featured a song called "We Don't Fuck Wit' Dat" In that song E-40 spits the line "Pineapple juice, malibu rum, 151 will get yo dickhead numb."

My question, did Tech rep it first or did E-40, or are they reppin it together equally, considering the quote by Krizz in the song?

I know this has nothing to do with your statement but once again a bitch has been drinking (yes ladies and gents I did say bitch and I was refering to myself) but I must say we did it again! I love my DJ at Juls on wednesday & friday nights. We got him to represent and play Caribou Lou tonight since that was our drink of choice today! Everyone in the club was LOVING that and was getting down to it! Thats going to be the next club single I can feel it! Mad love and goodnight all!

I was at a bar here in SF bout a year ago and told the bartender I needed a drink. Already a lil tippsy I asked her if she knew anything good. Her reply was a drink her friend taught, she came out for a visit from the Mid West. It was Caribou Lou. So it was like hey baby lets get to drinkin'. We were friends for the night.
