hybird is better for the long run, one reason is for resale value when you go to sell your car, hybirds will be the norm so your car will be at least average, not below average becuase it lacks a hybird enginge. its a 4 cylinder hybird so you should test it out and see if it has enough power for your driving style.
its better for the environment which means a better life (air quality, ozone erosion, etc) for you, your children and their children etc.
only bad thing bout hybirds is the initial upfront cost is almost like 4-5 grand more for a hybird, but your car will be worth more then 2 grand then its resale value just cus you have a hybird, compared to non-hybird that many wont want in several years.
id go and buy a hybird if i was lookin for a car, that car should last you until a reliable alternative to fuel cars or whatever comes out next.
