Like any political/social structure, capitalism has pros and cons...
elements provide benefits, while it also has detrimental costs

every ideology has its pros and cons.

Capitalism has probably more pros than cons.

I dunno, I'm tired.

Fascism is still a form of capitalism (state capitalism).

"fascism can be viewed as a product of the transition from the market capitalism of the independent producer to the organized capitalism of the oligopoly." It was a point that Orwell had noted when he described fascism as being but an extension of capitalism. Lyttelton quoted Nationalist theorist Affredo Rocco: "The Fascist economy is. . . an organized economy. It is organized by the producers themselves, under the supreme direction and control of the State." source

There's a reason people are risking their lives everyday to try and get here, but I plan on leaving when I get a career going and enough money to do it.

The thing about best places to live in the world, you've got to consider one thing, are you going to be rich or poor? If you're gonna be rich, ANY country in the world is the best place to live in. However, if you're gonna be poor and start from nothing, US is the best place to live in the world IMO.

Who are you asking?

Some places in the US are great to live, others not so much (obviously where you live is also factored in by how much $$$ you got)

The US as a whole compared to certain countries is better, but when compared to others it is not.

Yes, Capitalism has spread across the globe, but how much of the globe is devastated by poverty as a direct result of Capitalism?

A good picture that comes to mind:

In case you cant see it clearly it states: "Every morning I wake up on the wrong side of Capitalism."

There is a reason why some capitalist countries like the US are rich while other Capitalist countries like Mexico are poor.

Capitalism generally seems to be measured by the success of the US, but never will someone defend Capitalism by using Mexico, or Ecuador as an example.
