What tha hell does a producer gotta do to get known in this bay area rap scene. If anyone can help me let me know, so far the only major names on my producing list is Aesop from the Living Legends. If anyone has any advice hit me up. Here are a few samples of my work.

What it iz fam, this is DC from Celly Cel's Realside Records. How much the beats hittin for? The beats sound pretty clean, only reason I could imagine that ya beats ain't sellin is one u don't know the right peeps, or two u are chargin too much. Its all a hustle homie, u jus gotta network. As far as producing goes, a lot of producers give well known rappers their beats for damn near free just to get credits to their name so they can sell beats cuz really a rapper can look at it like i can buy this slap right here from johny no name over here who got no credits to his name or i can buy this other slap for about the same price from someone who done shit for tons of peeps. Ya feel. Anyway, get in how you can homie, there ain't no book to it, u just gotta husle n try everythin u can til u find a way in.

Thanks guys I'm glad yall feelin it. For truetalents I think its the first one cause I aint be chargin to much at all. I am willin to work with the budget of any artist. As long as the artist aint tryin to rip me off and I like the artist everything is negotiable.

i have told many young producers how to really get in the game. i have been very lucky to have built my business with several of the best producers in bay history. in my camp i have mike mosley, assassin, versatyle, BC, murdoc and i've been close friends with rick rock for over 20 years. i tell all young producers how rick rock, mike mosley and assassin came up to be know as some of the best in the game.

first step is u gotta be dope. if u aint dope u aint gonna get them rick rock paychecks.

second step is u gotta get ya credits up. rick, mike and assassin had to give away tons of trax to get their name ringing. after they had enough names on their trax and started gettin some dope classics under their belt, then the loot started rollin in. now rick and mike make a grip for their beats.

keak, fab, quinn and most of them others get free beats tossed at em all night, so u charging them for beats is gonna be tough at first. now my lil nephew MURDOC is following in rick rock and mikes footsteps, he already has AP9, GONZOE, PRETTY BLACK, YOUNG DRU and many others on his trax. now hes just started selling them. if u need major bay cays on ya trax PM and i'll put u in touch with all the big named cats so u can start building up your credits. good luck, u have talent, u just need a few breaks

I'll make you another offer. We can do a project. I do the raps and you do the beats and we go half on profits. Fair exchange no robbery.
Why would anyone want to do that, your music is garbage.
