I got a question for those who are into photography. I wanted to know what is a good camera to start off with. What is a good camera for a low price? Im into getting a good camera since i seen my cousins pic when he came had a NIKON N"something." Looked them online and they cost a grip, so if you recommend another camera that takes good shots then id appreciate.

You should get a digital SLR camera. The Nikon D50 is about as cheap as it is and that costs $699 at Best Buy. If you are doing professional work you will want a SLR though for sure.

if ur lookin to become a photographer u should start out small maybe wit some Nikon (or some other $500-700 camera) then work your way up, my Nikon cost me about 2g's and rarley fuck wit it. If ur intrested in doin CD Covers or something to do wit graphic art, you should get a small digital camera with atleast 5.0 megapixels. I got some Kodak one juss for graphics and works fine for me. Hope this helps :)

I started out with an Olympus C5050, worked real good, i loved it - but i have a Nikon d70 slr now - if you're looking into getting serious about photography you still shouldnt jump right into it with a $2000 camera, start small and work your way up..once you feel comfortable with the manual settings and learn more about lenses and such then you can upgrade. I say start with a camera between ($300-500)

Ive been looking at the Fuji S3100 like nastynia and they sem to get good reviews, but i have a question of which camera you would recmommned from these 2 a Fuji S3100 or a Fuji S5000 obviously 5000 is the later one but it seems to get better reviews then the S5100 but has a 3.1 MP (correct me if im wrong).
