Is there any way to tell how many calories that you burn when you exercise? I wanna start burning about 500-1000 calories a day through exercising, but I have no way of knowing how many Im burning. Any help would be appreciated.

The tread climber and Life skiing maching thing I do show all calories burned. I am at 25 minutes now and usually burn between 330-370 in that time. Trying to push it up every week until I get to an hour of cardio like 5 times a week.

I'm not sure how acurate those machines are when it says calories burned cuz when i run 30 munutes I burn less than when i;m on the equipitacal trainer yet I feel like I get much more of a cardio workout by running. Its strange but as long as you stick to a routine positive results will show i guess.

I try to get in there as much as I can but i still pretty much stay the same weight and body type. I'm in fairly decent shape though, I think i just need to eat a little healthier

Heres a tip I found

Ice Water -
High water intake reduces fat deposits and rids the body of toxins. Simply drinking eight 16 oz. glasses of water throughout the day, cooled to 40 Fahrenheit, will burn 200 calories; that's equivalent to running 3 miles! Ice water will burn more calories since your metabolism will increase to warm the water to body temperature. It is also very effective for reducing cravings. If you're not a water fan, we suggest you experiment with purified, spring or reverse osmosis water. If you're still not convinced, add a little juice for flavor. Don't drink Ice Water with meals as it dilutes digestive enzymes. A little warm water or herb tea is a good choice then.

How many calories you think its good to burn a day if u want to maintain your weight?
If all you want to do is maintain your weight then all you have to do is eat a certain amount of calories. Theirs a formula out there that will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain your weight based on your height and weight. I'll look for it and post it if I can find it. I know it exists, I've used it.

Oh and if you want to burn 500-1000 calories a day, just do 20-30 minutes of fairly intense workout on an eliptical machine. They're one of the best sources for burning calories.
