MY SHITS SLOW AS FUCC COMPARED TO YALL.....IM ON SBC DSL TOO AND I HATE IT....WHEN I LIVED IN STOCCTON I WAS ON COMCAST AND I WOULD REACH DOWNLOAD SPEEDS UP TO 400KB/SEC.....ON THIS I BARELY HIT 150 IF IM LUCCY.......FUCC SBC! :dead:

I've had DSL and currently have Cable.

DSL is good, SBC fucking sucks though unless you pay extra for a faster connection.

Cable is cool as long as there aren't lots of people in your area with it using it at the same time, if so it's just as slow as a 56K.

I'm happy with my Cable, it's not much faster than DSL, but it seems more reliable, my DSL would go down for hours up to a day at a time just because the phone company fucking sucks. But i had Cable for 3 months when i lived in an apartment building and damn i was better off with my regular modem.

shouldnt your shit be runnin a lil fast than that? im sure we have the same sbc deal..i got the cheapest one! like 26$ a month and my shit is faster then yours..you should put a trouble ticket out an they'll hook your shit up

wat yall got on 3KB/sec dial up. U have 2 have 2 much crap 4 that dsl 2 pay $26 a month u need 2 have there caller id long distance service. $29 u need 2 have caller id & service from SBC u pay $29 4 1 year after a year u have 2 pay $49 or $60 im like fuck that. Tryin 2 get my mom 2 get cable

I have SBC yahoo DSL w/ a wireless router. I have a desktop and I was tryna transfer a file to my sister's laptop which has wireless internet available. So I send the file thru aim and the speed is fucking over 400kb/s. But when I use my lady's laptop and transfering a file from my desktop to hers, the speed is only 15kb/s. WTF is up with that? Her's ain't wireless enabled and connected with an ethernet cable from the router just like my desktop. Can someone explain the speed differential?

Yeah I just picked up comcast CAble went from sbc. Shit i d/l at 290-300 kb/sec with cable. WIth dsl it was like 140-150 and also its only 29$ month with comcast.
