Noooooooo, Cable is the MECCA of internet speed. I have DSL and I think its fast. But my aunt has Cable and she zooms through the net.. I'm talkinb bout NO stalling at all when going to website... You view videos,music etc as soon as you click on it... If you crave speed, go with Cable!

Cable is much better. Also, a problem with dsl is you have to be close to one of their networks or some shit and if you are further away the speeds will drop even more. With cable, no matter how far you are (as long as you get service) it will be the same speed.

I had comcast before and I had to get the shit disconnected, yeah it was faster than DSL but that was only after peak hours. During the day, the shit would go slower than my dial up.

I am very happy with DSL....

This still matters with cable. It also depends how many connections there are in your area with cable too.

i am planning on getting cable internet from comcast, just wanted some feedback... they got a deal now in my area -

$19.99/month for the first 6 months... no contract needed...

I am also waiting to hear from the class action lawsuit against sbc dsl... if we win, we each get $20
