That depends on what kind of agreement they had on paper homie. Alot of folks feel that way, but none of us know what kinda ownership or copyright papers Suge or Pac had for them. It's a shady biz...THE SHADIEST, but some forget that just because ya vocals is on the song and you rappin on it, you don't always own it. Just another pitfall of the game.

Everybody in the music business should know that NOBODY who signed to Death Row at some point in their career owns the shit they do under that contract. Suge Knight owns ALL THE MASTERS that are created under his label....the shit is written in his contracts. 'Pac didn't own shit, Dre didn't own shit, Snoop didn't own shit...nobody there does but SUGE. Because of that, it was in a way wrong for 2Pac's mom to file a lawsuit and take Pac's shit. 2Pac signed a contract saying that Suge Knight and Death Row Records own the rights to all material recorded under that agreement....who is Afeni Shakur to break that agreement?? I understand she wants to do the right thing with her sons music...but in all honesty, she's puttin million dollar raps with $5 beats, and fuckin up his legacy. Suge never would have done that shit.

Its not Afeni who is in charge of all of that, its Kastro and Edi. They are in charge of Pac's music.
