Bush had grenade thrown at him?

Sorry if I'm late on this. I remember hearing on the news not too long ago that a man threw a grenade at Bush when he was giving a speech. The grenade turned out to be a dud. How easy was that to assassinate bush? I can't believe the grenade was DUD tho lol. Bush must've been pissing in his pants.

I heard it was found 100 feet away from him. Like it wasnt thrown, but it was also a live grenade.
