I wish I could say it was a good series... but it wasnt.
The Spurs' playoff/championship experience really showed... so did the Suns' youth and inexperience. I cant really say that for all the players though. Nash, Amare, and Joe Johnson played like allstars.. Amare averaged 40 points a game, a couple blocks, and about 10 rebounds against the spurs--the best defensive team in the league. he broke down their defense like it was nothing.. a sharp knife cutting through warm butter.
Suns lost because of Shawn Marion and Quintin Richardson. Mike Dantoni too.. With as much talent as he had to work with, he shoulda figured something out besides "run the hell out of them". Which is all he ever says to them if you listen to their huddles. "run them to the floor!".
Oh well. Go Spurs.

I don’t think their regular season stats really mean shit in the finals, this can be proven countless times in the past and I think you know this. But, Miami is out, so we can put that debate to rest.
As you know, Detroit is the best defensive team in the NBA. San Antonio has trouble against good defenders. The only reason they beat Phoenix is because their defense sucks ass, c’mon they allowed SA to score 100+ points every game when in the regular season they only averaged what? 90-something points??
Detroit is a completely different team than Phoenix or Seattle. I predict Detroit takes it game 5 or 6.

You forgot to metnion that SA is the best team defeinsviely in the West...they only allowed 87 points a game this season...
Matchups will be KEY in this series...whos gonna guard Manu?Can Tim score effiecinetly on Big Ben?Will Tay exploit his matchups???Will the Rasheed of old show up?Or the one that just guns 3's all day and scores 7 points and shoot 3-13...and forgets that hes a 7 footer and can POST UP...be there...
Billups cant guard Tony...plain and simple...hes too quick...but i dont think TOny can guard Chauncy either...hes too bulky....so the guards are gonna get theres no matter what...
I cant wait...this series will NOT be boring...this is old school b-ball at tis finest...two head bangers playin physical...and nail-biter finishes...
