Sacramento Rapper's Sister Beaten to Death - 9/16/2003

Sacramento County coroners have identified 29-year-old Mann as the Elk Grove woman fatally beaten inside her home Friday night -- apparently by the boyfriend, according to police. Michelle Mann, sister to Sacramento rapper Brotha Lynch Hung was brutally murdered by an angry boyfriend.

Sacramento County sheriff's deputies said Kenneth Hoze, 26, has been identified as a suspect in the case.

Police said the suspect was seen fleeing the house shortly after the altercation in a white 1992 four-door Infiniti. Police said Hoze lived at the residence with Mann, her four sons, ages 6 to 12, and her mother.

Sgt. Lou Fatur said Mann's oldest son told officers he heard a fight and his mother crying for help. Police report Mann was found by her son and her mother in a back bedroom covered in blood. The woman had sustained serious head injuries and later died at UC Davis Medical Center.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department at (916) 874-5115.

Friends have set up a trust fund for Mann's children. Donations can be made to: Benevolent Fund for the Children of Michelle Mann, Acct. No. 4443936715. Washington Mutual Bank, 8725 Elk Grove Blvd., Elk Grove, CA 95624.

yeah, it's fucked up. If i had a sister beatin to death and i knew who it was, then he better not come around my way because i'd kill him...nah, fuck that. I'm one crazy mothafucker i'd chop his dick off and make him feel pain till he dies slow....

man, if y'all don't already know lemme tell ya...the newspaper lies.... they did it to 3 of my homeboys that got locced up 4 robbin a bunch of gas stations a couple months ago...I went to visit my nig and told him what the paper said...that nigga told me the truth...the paper said they were in a whole different fuccin CITY than they were really in plus some more shit.. the paper lies in corroboration with the police to keep the community "safe"...or in actuallity to attempt to lull the people in to a false sense of security....real chop....i seen the picture of where that shit happened up in sac...looks like a gang of square white folks live ther....youy don't want people movin out cuz shootings be goin on there... it's already bad enough somebody was beaten to death...shit... giz-one
