also, why couldnt nolan do for the 9ers defense what he is doing for the denver defense?

i guess, some people are meant to be coordinators and some people are made to be coaches.

Im not saying super bowl but this team can win a playoff game or 2, and is no longer a pussified pushover like the old shanahan teams. They can win a ballgame a number of ways and challenge you to gameplan against them, and when yo udo they come out with a better gameplkan in 2nd half

2...yes only 2 3rd down conversions in 2nd half all season....thats not overachieving thats right players in right places in the right schemes.

It's the right schemes for the type of players, comes down to coaching. Wish we knew something about that around here.

I'll rewatch the game when I get home, but my observations from the stands:

I thought we dominated the first half, if not for the special teams play it would be different. Field goals in the redzone again! Norv great play call on the sproles up the middle run. Let's see he is like 50lbs wet, run into 300lbs guys

norv got outcoached in the 2nd half, great adjustments by the broncos we can't block for shit we can't rush the passer for shit...this season is done.
Let's beat the raiders in two weeks and hope for a coaching overhaul in the off season
