he had 1 good throw.....outside of that you saw what you will see alot of him when he gets more playing time...fumbles, and tip balls, and late (behind wr) throws.
No matter what u gotta find something negative to say give him credit.Russell wouldve done more if he wouldve played longer.Bronco fans probably though he would get sacked, fumble,or throw an int but he didnt and he proved some people wrong. He did good.Hell do better later.

thascary 1's excuses are weak. Of course his timing was off this was the first action he has seen all year. He didn't play one snap in pre-season so of course some of his throws maybe off or miss timed!

Russell evaluation: The more Kiffin watched the video, the more impressed he was with how rookie quarterback JaMarcus Russell handled adversity in his 16-play debut.

Instead of making plays out of nothing, Russell protected the ball on a botched handoff exchange and fumbled snap - the latter of which Kiffin pinned on center Jeremy Newberry for being wide right.

"We were really pleased with the way (Russell) protected the ball and his decision-making," Kiffin said. "There's some other times on some throws where he could have forced some things and tried to do too much, and he didn't."

LOL... @ thascary 1 for looking for mistakes from the big rook...

First he had two good throws. 1 to porter on that out and one to curry when he was wide open but it was right on mark. It doesnt materr if they are "good throws" it matters if they are complete and he had 5 completions out of like 8 tries. I swear you raider haters think your phycics. How would he have gotten sacked if Josh didnt get sacked the whole game. He didnt fumble it was a botched snap.

lol hatin on JRs performance?? I thought it was pretty good.. wasnt he like 4/7 for like 56 yards or somethin? that fumble was clearly the snap from Newberry if you watched it and he did recover... But yah the team didnt even know he was gonna get some playing time in the game so aint like they had shit prepared to go..

newayz positive shit for the Raider Nation.. Aso#21 was on the raido talkin about how the team is taking the final 6 games important even tho they are out of it.. well 4 games now since they got KC and Den.. but he said the energy in the locker room is very confident right now and you dont see players giving up already even tho they arent in playoff contention...... lol he even mentioned it felt like an earthquake once JR took the field cuz tha stadium waz on and crackin.

wtf is a phycic?

and don't matter ball hit ground it is what it is!

And a ball to a wide open wr doesn't really count has a "good" throw..anyone good enough to be drafted should be able to make that throw.

Lets talk about your boy Cutler. Threw for barely 50% and two picks against our "overrated" pass d. Just trying to force shit the whole game.

Guess he thinks hes Favre.

Im not gonna cat with you back and forth. Simply put for you to judge him and claim he made plenty mistakes so early proves your knowledge of football.

Its not like we are in here saying he god after 8 throws but your in here acting like hes shit.

Phychic or what ever you fruits always make predictions like you know what the fuck would have happened.

LOL... you're being pretty hard on him considering those were his first snaps of NFL action. The man had no pre-season games... NONE. He made some good decisions like Kiff said.
