If you can't take shit talking fun in a sports forum I can't help you. Or is it you are mad because of all the times Denver has beat Cleveland?

Or is it because we had the brownies d line which was almost last in rushing year before against the run and had a better ranked d this year? or we went 13-3 while cleveland was 6-10? or afc west champs and afc championship game we didn't actually really do better it was all the same as the year before, right?

hmm only 2 teams gave up less points than denver (Pitt & Chicago), but we weren't better.

It was all in fun....no need to get hurt over it.

If Romeo was such a good coach he would have seen the talent and kept them.

Or how about overpaying for Droughns?? Smart move there.

Seriously...it was all in fun, but I am sorry I hurt your feelings.

geez, have fun with a normal cleveland year again 6-10 7-9 here you come AGAIN!
Whoa Whoa...Did I strike a nerve?

HA HA...what are you talkin' about? I wasn't hurt about anything...did it come off that way? Looking at what I said, I fail to see what was so bad. That's the way I always am on here. Looks like you're the one over-reacting about shit.

Go ahead and throw out records, Denver beating Cleveland...blah, blah, blah...this is the internet....nothing gets me upset. If that was the case, I would have stopped coming here 5 years ago.

EXACTLY.....But gimpy took it a little to hard I guess.

I always thought this was a forum were we could talk shit in fun and not have to worry about someone taking it to heart!

Again GIMPY...I am sorry. Cleveland is not a farm club, they are a respectable team that takes pride in thier city and loves to perform at high levels at all times for thier fans.
I don't see how I took anything to heart. I'm not the one who started throwing out records and making smart ass remarks.

Wow...Denver is a better team. Want a cookie?

It was all in the first line in how I took the whole thread.

Sorry if that's not what you meant, but that's how I read it. I read it has you thinking they had little to no impact when in fact the same players that were worst in rushing d year prior were the catalyst to our awesome run d this year.

Even if I was saying all that...why would you care? I thought we could talk shit and not take it to heart? After all...you guys played in the championship....remember?

My main point is that these same guys are no better than when they were with Cleveland. So yes...I do think their impact was minimal.

Yes, you had a good run D...but you guys were top 5 last year. I think the "catalyst" to your run D is your Linebackers and better tackling secondary.

Top that off with the fact you guys were worse overall (yards) than you were last year. Only one spot ahead of us.

We staid about the same and had a better record...even without all of this great talent that left us.

you cant really compare the seasons for the browns players........when they were in cleveland they wernt playin against great runningbacks..in Denver they have to face Ladanian Tomlinson, Preist Holmes/Larry johnson two times a year.

Great, the Broncos just signed another defensive lineman of the Browns! WTF is going on? Some guy named Gordon. He was hurt all last year and played in 6 games the prior year.

HA HA HA...another guy? You guys need help!

You now have our entire starting line from 2004 and a scrub. What is going on in Denver?

Just signing depth at a strong position, thanks to Cleveland.

But I am sure they will have no impact at all. since it was an already good run defense it is bound to bite us in the ass getting all these players that suck.

It's all about adding depth and make others compete If they work out like last years signings did great, if it doesn't work out fine as well since it didn't cost anything to get them.

The only thing I am worried about with Denver right now is the lack of interest in Eric Moulds.

Yes he is getting up in years, but he is better than that POS Lelie and can help keep Rod from getting smashed like he did last year.

Why u ask nothing but a AFC championship is what was going on in Denver, The Broncos are in a way better situation than the Browns no matter who u signed Willie Mcginest was little late.. The Bronco's always had what Clevland never had was quick gap filling Linebackers, that's why these Clevland browns ex lineman are and will continue to have great seasons in Denver also having Andre Patterson ex Clevland line coach doesnt hurt either..

Hey...you keep on thinking these guys are the cream of the crop...Big Money and his 19 tackles. You will find out soon enough...just be thankful you have some awesome linebackers.

And if it doesn't work out is just cost you a year...maybe more. Money wise, you're ok, but if these get blown off the ball like they did here...then yes, it did cost you something...a blown season.

I never said cream of the crop, but the results were there (better run d than previous year, and more qb hurries than previous year)

And no it wont cost a season because these signing are more for depth not starting spots. The players we got last year yes they were for starting spots and they did there job (see above in paranthesis), the signings the past week are all about depth and money factor. They could have overspent on Abraham but instead they went with no name low price players and will try to build through the draft (ie: 2 first rounders)

Championship was last year...and unless you win the SB, it doesn't mean shit.

Yeah...you're in a better position...and? You helped me make my point...you have great linebackers, and a great tackling secondary...that's what makes your D tick. It sure as hell ain't the ex-Browns. How did they have great seasons? Pryce had the most tackles and he's gone. I'll be here in a year to say I told you so.

It's funny you Denver fans are defending these guys so much...before last year you probably didn't even know who they were...and if you did, I'm sure it wasn't for all of the great highlights you saw on ESPN.

Unless of course it was when you saw Jamal Lewis run for 300 yards on them.

All I know is Denver had one of the best run defense and Pryce only had 3 sacks last year. I knew that those ex Clevland linemen would be a better fit in the 5280. The reason is because the linebackers speed some players fit in the system some dont but I agree I dont know why Mike has to get the entire Cleveland front line that just seems wierd he's obsess with that team so far its worked for them lets see next year like you say..
