Yet ANOTHER great move this off-season for Denver.

Now we can let Marcus Thomas not have to worry about being a full time player his rookie year and he can work behind and spell Big Sam Adams, who is the perfect fit for a Jim Bates defense!

I mean this move isn't up there with cooper carlisl and all but man....lol

These moves Denver have made this off-season are AMAZING!

If you fail to see how this helps the team in a major way I cannot help you.

Also it is not my fault that every move we have made this year ACTUALLY HELPED THE TEAM. They weren't moves for the sake of being in the news...they were moves that helped the team step forward not back or even.

This is just another reason why Oakland will NOT contend for a titla in the next few years.

But if you are happy with the piddly signings of carlisle and newberry compared to Graham, henry, bly, adams, etc.....then so be have fun in the cellar again!

it is a good move, though. sam adam's fat ass will actually help a lot with stuffing the run, allowing the linebackers to flow to the ball.

you should be concerned anyways, dominic rhodes and l-boogie won't get past the bronco's defense.

they don't have too, jamarcus is going to be throwing 50 yard bombs all game remember. I can't believe you havn't bought into the newberry and carlisle era that will give him max protection to hit the wr's way downfield.

running game....pfft you don't need no running game when you have chuck norris...err I mean Jamarcus russell.

If the Raiders signed him thascary 1 would have said something like he's too old or something negative. Fat boy ain't going to last the whole season anyway. He's good for about a couple run stuffing plays a game... That's if he's in the game... He won't finish the season healthy.

That's great, but we don't need people like bly, henry or adams. Maybe Graham would have been a good pickup, but we did draft Zach Miller.

yeah, but you guys need offensive linemen. some quality linemen that will protect your investment in jamarcus russell.

but what did you do, pick up cooper carlisle and jeremy newberry. they will not get the job done...

let's see younger than sapp, cheaper than sapp, was hurt the past 2 years so not worn down, and we don't need him to play every down....but

you guys are right though.....he was a very bad signing..I mean we need depth at that position...but we went after a guy with a super bowl ring, a couple pro bowls under his belt....what we should have did was went after a guy with not much experience instead.

man some of you raider fans are very very funny.

Tony,

If the Raioders would make a good move I would applaud it..BUT THEY HAVEN'T! The best move I think they made this off season was McCowen...BUT you off set that with Russell

You can't start McCowen with confidence now because half the fans will be with him the other have crying for russell to start...no win situation..believe me I was there with Denver last year...it truly is ano win situation

I also like the Michael Bush pick..BUT you have money invested in 2 backs who have not proven to be #'s on thier own...so now you have 3 guys who are all unproven #'1 at the nfl level.....running back by commitee is decent but in the afc west you have the worst set of rb's..so again doesn't improve your situation.

You also have carlisle and newberry...they fit a need but didn't FIX a need......see a team like denver needed dline help and db help..all they did was get bly, adams, and drafted a couple of highly touted d-line players...that';s improvemtn...while the raiders got players of need, they aren't exactly improvement.

so my bashing of the raiders isn't because of hatred..IT BECAUSE THE MOVES ARE NOT SMART MOVES!

You see the common denominator? ALL FANS OF ALL TEAMS say the same thing I do about all moves.

you have fans of 2 other differnt teams saying the same I do...this move helps denver tremendously

and in other threads you have fans of about 6 other teams agreeing with me that the raider moves are nothing to write home about.

but go ahead and think it's just bias!

Raider fans you guys crack me up.

ok

the point of that is...denver need players and we got top notch replacements

raiders need players and they go and get joe smith from town the street which will make no difference

he's old...maybe good thru the first half...gonna sink in the 2nd half....it's not like cleveland didn't try to make it work wit him
yeah, he's old. but he still has an impact on run defense.

and it's not like he's gonna play in every single formation or every down.

sam adams will only play 1st and 2nd down.

And what makes your set of running backs better than ours? San Diego has the best set of backs in the NFL... no doubt about it. Dominic Rhodes is fresh off of a superbowl victory where his running played a huge role in the Colts' victory and if Peyton didn't win the MVP Dominic Rhodes would have won it. The Raiders probably have the second best set of running backs behind San Diego. Keep it real!
