Bly was misused as a Ram. He was a nickel & dime back. He only ended up in the second round back in 99 because of a poor junior year. After his sophmore year he was projected 2 be a top 5 pick. He's only 5'9 but u still don't see too many receivers getting off on him now so I don't think its gonna happen later either. Az far as the Ravens..... McAllister iz the only really good corner they have. After losing Duane Starks a few years ago they haven't filled the other side yet.
I actually thought he played pretty good with the Rams. He played good in Detroit too though. He's got some picks... we'll see how does in Denver. I think he's been used a lot in the Cover 2 scheme so we'll see how he does in man coverage. I think the Broncos play a lot of man to man coverage.

And about the Ravens... you don't think that Samari Rolle is good? I think that's who they got to replace Duane Starks. I think Rolle is pretty good.

bly and bailey will definitely give the broncos the second best cornerback tandem after baltimore's mcalister and rolle. but, the thing that separates these two cornerback tandems is that the ravens have much better safety help.

but still, if the broncos keep al wilson, and address their pass rush needs in this coming draft, they will continue to he among the top defensive units in the league.

it is early, and by no means i am jinxing the broncos, but i do like their chances of going far in the postseason in the upcoming football season. if travis henry can maintain the load of the offense, leaving cutler's workload to a minimum, i think they could compete with the patriots and colts...

Yeah the Broncos seem to be in the mix every year. I think it's mostly due to their coaching. I think Mike Shannahan is one of the best coaches in football. I think I'd go with Baltimore's DB's being a little bit better and then I'd place Denver's DB's 2nd.

rolle was GREAT on the titans and his first year as a raven.....after that he hasnt really played up to that level no more

if you "dunno" about bly....you dont watch enough football PERIOD....
I guess I do watch enough football... this is cut and pasted

"The Broncos’ trade for Lions CB Dré Bly in March made a lot of noise around the league, especially considering he’ll be paired with All-Pro Champ Bailey in the secondary. But two personnel directors PFW spoke with recently were hardly overwhelmed by the addition, suggesting they wouldn’t put Bly, who has 33 career interceptions and 17 forced fumbles, in the elite category with the league’s top cover men. “He makes plays, sure, and his ball skills are right up there, but he’ll give up just as many plays as he makes,” said one AFC scout, citing flaws such as inconsistent tackling, a tendency to be overaggressive and a 5-foot-9 frame that leaves him vulnerable. “Teams game-plan around Champ Bailey. He’s a difference-maker. But Bly will be targeted. Teams are going to go after him. It was a good acquisition because they needed (a replacement for the late Darrent Williams), absolutely, but I don’t think it’s the slam dunk everybody’s making it out to be. Come third down, I’d be going right at him.”

I watch plenty of football, PERIOD! I am not saying Bly is garbage and I am not saying he's deep. I think he's used to be deep when he was on the Rams. But we'll see... He's 5'9 fellaz. All the receiver has to do is get body position on him and he's done. I think he's going to get picked on if he doesn't get help from the safety. Bailey can pretty much hold his own but Bly? I don't know....

Bailey was burned..remember he is also i jured...bly was not burned...faster dude runs faster than a little bit slower dude,,,like I said it's not like he was 10 yards past bly..they were step for step Farve threw a perfect pass in stride...something he doesn;t do very often anymore.

So uh Czar...how was that awesome 53 total yard performence buy your boy young???? you read that right 53 total yards 42 pass 11 rush.....please bring your own comedy to the thread and say how young WON that game instead of the defense!!!!!
