He was going to be a huge cap hit and was gaining age on top of injruies, but I figiured we wouldresign him to a lower cap #.

After he failed the Giants phsyical it's a wonder how hurt he really is now!

not that bad of a player? try all-star!

and it's not that we don't appreciate him...hit was over a 6 million cap hit for a player that not only hurt his neck seriously, he has had other injuries as well as failed phsyical less than a month ago.

he keeps screwing my boy bulluck outta the probowl lol.....hes a good player..but this doesnt come at a suprise...i knew they were going to pay him his money.....maybe titans will swoop and they will trade off a good rb for a good LB......

I agree if it was 2 years ago. I think the injuries he got last season cuaght up with his age.

Denver would not have let him go for nothing. So either his injuries are too much (he did fail a physical last month in new york), or he wouldn't take a paycut.

I think the first is more likely.

lol, scary1...who do you think is taking over d.j.'s strongside linebacker spot? you think chukwurah will take over, or do you think they'll address that in this coming draft?


what do you think about trading for lance briggs, don't the broncos play a good amount of cover 2?

First off we don't have enough to offer for Briggs, and I highly doubt we could afford him even if we got him.

I think they will move dj over leave gold where he is and either draft a lb....a broncos message board I am on is sayng move up for willis, but we have more pressing needs than drafting a high pick lb, or use a late day 1 or early day 2 pick......we'll see

Also there is talk that we are 1 of 2 teams waiting on a decison from Hartwell, or maybe go after Arrington for a low base high bonus type contract
