looks like you guys just signed ANOTHER fuckin' ex-Browns D-Lineman.

Jesus Christ scary...this is getting nuts! 8 of them now!!!

When Mike Shannahan has needs on his defensive line he usually looks to Cleveland, and, believe it or not, he did it again.

On Tuesday, the Broncos reached a four-year agreement in principle with Browns defensive lineman Alvin McKinley. McKinley becomes the eighth former Browns defensive lineman to join the Broncos in the past three offseasons.

The timing of this signing, though, comes in interesting time for the Broncos. They are starting to unload some of the former Browns. On Monday, they released former Browns defensive end Courtney Brown because of knee problems. McKinley's re-signing probably ends the two-year stay of former Browns defensive tackle Michael Myers, who is an unrestricted free agent.

The McKinley signing also comes at a time the Broncos are trying to finalize a Dan Wilkinson trade. Wilkinson has until around the draft to pass a physcal in order for the trade not to be voided. For several weeks, the Broncos couldn't find Wilkinson. He has been in contact with him, but there are some thoughts he might need a procedure done on a knee.

The Broncos had been talking with Bears defensive tackle Ian Scott, but opted to sign McKinley instead.

shit, now impissed! thats a good pick up. ive always liked stokley and a #3 youre right the d line had no type of pass rush, that team is stacked though

That d-line is really our only weakness right now. Try to get a couple in the draft and we'll see what happens.

the only concern i would have about stokley is that he is coming off of a torn achilles, other than that a damn good pick up. i think smith is getting fazed out, any chance of him being a causalty on june 1st? i dont know but it just crossed my mind.

there is talk of it. Bit I think they would keep him around as a 3 or 4 before they keep say a Kircus.

Smith just restructured so I think they keep him 1 more year.

The Broncos and Pats have to be considered the Favorites next year in the AFC, if not in the whole NFL
i'd say so myself.

but i would rather much see the broncos win another lombardi trophy than the patriots. fuck them.

but with stokley, it should solidify the wr corps of the broncos. however, i feel they should've addressed the pass rush situation earlier. elvis dumervil is a good pass rusher, but he is a defensive end that is way undersized(5'11").

Well...you should! 8 ex-Browns? Seriously...that's just borderline retarded. Notice how no other team tries to sign these guys?

AM was the worst starting guy we had...he would have been a backup on just about any other team.

Funny how you say the D-Line is shit...when you started getting all of our players I tried telling you how bad they were...but you didn't want to believe me.
