Y is everyone hating on Favre, and I dont mean just on this board. Look they fucked up when they didnt sign a damn person in the offseason on their Defense except for (drumroll) Charles Woodson, no nothing agaist him, other than he is a complainer, and hasnt had a pick in I think 3 years, but if a team like The Packers are going to spend money, big money on a corner like they did then sign fucking TY LAW! (10 pix last year) Other than Woodson, they drafted AJ Hawk, signed a few fags for the secondary, and thats it. O and lost Grady Jackson in the middle of the D line. So basically their horrible D from the past 2-3 years has not changed much at all. 3 new D coordinators but no good players (They actually lost Darren Sharper, and Nail Diggs). And think of all the players who were out their in the offseason , John Abraham, Lavar Arington, Ty Law, Julian Peterson, Surtain, and thats just a handfull. Lets see on offense they are starting 2 rookies, they have lost 2 of their top lineman in the past 2 years, and also lost Javon Walker in the offseason. Favre can throw to Robert Ferguson, Donald Driver, Bubba Franks, Donald Lee, and their new rookie Jennings, o and they just signed DUI dumbshit Koren Robinson who was cut from the Vikings a few weeks back. FB William Hnederson was hurt for Sundays game (pro bowler last year) and Ahman Green still rushed for 110. Driver is the only legit target and on any other team he would be a #2 receiver.
Now I have been watching Favre since 94 and I definitely think he has lost some of his game, but I just can't see how its farve's fault when he is throwing to receivers about as talented as well, myself..His D Sux, special teams too. Im not making excuses just kind of venting because it kills me to see a Hall of Fame quarterback with still above average skills (I didnt say the best in the NFL) have his last year wasted due to no offseason moves.
Now what do you all think, I dont really care if you shittalk, but what I wrote was some real talk.

Packers should have traded him. People(especially within the organization) should have known this year was going to be a serious flop, but a flop year meant for building. Farve could be doing better on a different team for at least another few years, but stuck with GB his career is over. Dude has always made rash decisions and has always thrown a lot of INT's, but because he's the ONLY premier player on teh team AND the QB at that, he has to sholder all the blame.

I feel bad a QB that good will go down being remembered as being washed up on a horrible team.

*He still was one of the best in his prime.

My opinion of Favre is he is egotistical, self centered and only cares about himself and the records he is chasing by staying WAY past his prime.

This dude holds his own press confrences for no reason other than to keep his name out there. He never tkes any blame for bad games when in reality the past 2 years and start of this yer it is mostly his fault.

He is just padding his stats for HOF(which he is in no need to pad), and he is trying to get most wins, but at his current rate it will take anothe 3 or 4 years and by then he will be even worse.

And you think his wr core is bad??? Look around the league, Driver alone makes his wr core better than ALOT of others....see Patriots, Falcons, Vikings, Chiefs, and numerous others that Packers are better equiped at wr than.

You can try to blame the defense all you want but in order to keep the defense off the field you need to keep the ball on the offenseive side and Brett does nothing but throw pick after pick putting the defense BACK ON THE FIELD!

^I agree with thascary1... Favre's play is the main reason Green Bay has been playing awful these last few years....

But think about this. He hasn't been the same since Mike Holmgren left Green Bay. No more trips to the SuperBowl. Coaching is a muthafucka in the NFL.

farve has always been over rated to me.. Hes just a lucky player who had a couple above avarage players when they were good, with about 2 great players. Farve should just go away and let aaron rodgers get some playing time. That will also give GB time to see if Rodgers should be the man in GB.
