That's some cool sh!t "BitchKissDis". Hella cool "commercial design". Kinda like you said though, not really seeing it as an album cover. . . . . but cool as hell anyways!
Gotta say though, cool as hell color range but if you design in RGB (as you've done), make sure you stay in CMYK gamut. You AND your client would be HELL'A dissapointed if you took that to the press right now. (want a preview, take it into Photoshop, flatten it and convert it to CMYK . . . watch the colors go Bye Bye) Just be carefull when printing is involved.

@ TheGraphixLab, Thanks for the comments and ur opinion! I'm an amateur, I've never done anything like this before. Mkay, so I tried wut u said to do, but it did nothing to the colors except darken my blues.
Eh, does that mean because of the coloring the printing may b more expensive or harder to do? School me...I dunno nothing bout printin n junk.

Main tip to keep in mind is the monitor can show millions of more colors than can be printed using process / 4 color (CMYK) printing. This is the standard process to print full color in most everything you see around you.
It's OK to design in RGB but when you're picking colors (i.g. in Photoshop) watch your color. If you pull up your "Color Picker", watch the little box with an "exclamation" icon above it. This tells you when you're using color out of CMYK gamut. Click the exclamation symbol when lit-up and it'll select the closest relative CMYK color (yuck).
As colorfull as your design, it actually wasn't too bad when converting. Your conversion you second posted was horribly "off" and took the life rigt out the image. You need to do some custom color preferences in PS. This is VERY important to aid in the CMYK conversion for best results. PM me if you want details.
Colors to watch for when designing RGB are "Vivid Blues (i.g. your blue circles-upper left)"; "Fucias / Hot Pinks"; "Bright Reds"; "Bright Teals"; Neon Greens and anything that appears to be unnaturally NEON".
The only time files are to be printed from RGB's are high end photo finishing. The Film processors use a different printing formula so if you take digital pics to to processed, leave RGB.
Another thing, you CAN push colors to get better results after converting from RGB to CMYK.
In the sample I attached, I converted to CMYK and bump up some color and stuff. Still looked good, I was tripping before but colors wern't too out of gamut. Only dissapointment might be the Blue Circles in top.
Keep it up, you'll have that sh!t down in no time!

Damn.......so far after reviewing all the brainstorm covers its hard to decide which one is on top right now but i will let you know which ideas were sick...Da giftedone:your idea was sick but it needed a little more to catch someones eye....sick shit though.

#1 right ow is swishersplitter's cover....the graphics on there are sick and the color is fantastic....so far that one is the tightest....!

Maybe throw a tornado up in there or somethin would look sick.......I've seen them tornado'z up close and personal and they ain't no joke...
P.S. I re-checked them all and I'm feelin that last one the most. Throw a tornado up in there and put the OG GI logo up at the top.......that'z all I can recommend...
