If you cant take a punch without padding for your braces, then you will be useless in a gang. When you get into a gangfight, are you going to call "timeout" so you can put a mouthpiece in???
getting hit in the mouth with braces is no joke.....I had braces in the 7th & 8th grade and got them taken off in the 9th (I still have an underbite, but it closed my gap)....but I have permanent scar lines in my lip from getting hit....shit ain't cool, your mouth starts bleeding for any little hit.....
