No huge names this month unless you still consider Roy Jones big time, but there are a number of bangers on here! Nate Campbell vs Timothy Bradly to open up the month on Aug first should be a great one. As well as the Pinoy Top Rank PPV. My boy is really cool with Nonito and not really into boxing, and Flash offered him free tickets to the fight, but unfortunately, I'm going to Vegas the week before !

Really looking forward to seeing the Luevano and Concepcion fight too. Bernabe has a really akward style, but is pretty explosive. Should be dope.

@ 2-0 ..

You can add Clinton Woods Vs. Tavoris Cloud, for Dawson's vacated title for refusing to fight Cloud, to the same card as Juan Urango Vs. Randall Bailey. That's a dope ass card for ESPN .. two title fights in the same night.

Thanks I forgot about that. I've been waiting for Cloud to fight again...I always thought he may have the power to KO Dawson. Hopefully if Cloud wins he'll get his shot

haha, sweet. Rogan is such a feel good story, Rocky-like almost.
Yea, I have no delusions of Rogan being a super champion or anything but it's good to see the guy doing well and I do hope he at least makes it to the point of fighting for a title. Beating Harrison and Skelton are two pretty underrated wins.

Yea, Antillon got crushed with an uppercut. Acosta fought pretty good the whole fight too, not just that round.

Hernan Marquez Vs. Juan Esquer was a pretty good fight too. Had never seen Marquez fight until that fight and he looked pretty good. Recommend catching either of those if you get a chance.

The Segura fight was pretty shitty and Rosas/Martinez was alright.

Just got tickets for Hook City in Biloxi. Not the greatest of cards but it's not often a good show comes around here and they should have some pretty good fights. I'm actually kind of excited to see Kimbrough vs Litzau live being that Litzau usually puts on a good show even though he's not all that good.

^~~ Pretty cool. Since he's local to you .. any idea why Wright never fought after losing to Small on that ESPN Contender vs UK show they did?

Also Rafael Concepcion missed weight by 4lbs tonight.

Very cool night. Turned out to be a pretty good fight card. Kind of disappointed that Mendoza injured his shoulder and had to stop in the 4th but overall it was pretty dope.

Litzau blitzing Kimbrough was impressive .. even though I don't think he'll do much in terms of being a champion or anything he still looked good in there tonight.

I didn't know much about Dominguez going in but I had seen Green fight a few times and he stung Dominguez up. Almost looked like Dominguez was gonna mount a little comeback for a second and then he got killed.

And RJJ beat the shit out of Lacy. Looks like they're going to set up a fight between RJJ and Green. Shouldn't be too bad a fight and definitely a fight that RJJ can win.

^^the toilet.

He's a shit fighter, almost lost to peter manfredo, had to tackle Mendoza to avoid getting KTFO, gets pounded by Taylor, retires briefly from the sport and now gets pounded by jones. Clearly all he wanted was the money, he has no heart left. Sad how quickly he fell from being one of the promising looking fighters to what he is now.

I know, one of the biggest decline's I've seen in a while. Worse than Bojado.
I swore Lacy was going to murder Calzaghe, and it was all down hill from there...

He shouldn't really retire (unless his shoulder is STILL that messed up), but realistically he wouldn't even be that good of a gatekeeper. People just figured him out I guess...
