Canelo is gonna take it steady this year. GGG is coming next year. It all depends on who Cotto fights next. If Cotto fights Floyd, then Cotto in September. If Cotto fights GGG, which I have personal hopes for, then Lemieux or maybe Lee if he beats Quillin in September. Then a unification bout with GGG will be huge. Over 1 mill buys

^I wanna see Canelo vs GGG more than any other fight right now, even more than PBF vs Manny. I think that fight would kill it both in numbers and with the actual fight.
Yes. It will happen. Canelo has balls. Cotto lost his apparently after beating Maravilla . Fucking diva's are taking over the sport.

This will be a true Mexican war, end of 2015 hopefully. If not May 2016.

Exactly, people can talk about how many holes in Canelo's game there are. And they're right, but the guy has balls. You don't really see many fighters these days taking risks with the fights they take. And the Lara decision I didn't agree with, but that's not his fault. He stands up and gets into the ring, can't ask for more from a fighter. GGG seems the same, though he hasn't yet fought elite competition.

weird I just made a post but it disappeared.

^Right, I don't think it's his fault either. He's been calling guys out since he first fought in the states.
And before the states he was being ducked by then champ Felix Sturm, who GGG was mandatory to for TWO years. Also on two occasions N'dam was ordered to a purse bid to fight GGG but N'dam never showed up.

The IBF just officially stripped Jermaine Taylor of his title. So that vacant title will now be fought for by the two next highest ranked available fighters, ironically that is N'dam and Felix Sturm. However I don't think Sturm is going to take it as he'll make more money fighting zee German's, so the next guy up is Billy Joe Saunders, so it's looking like it will be N'dam vs Saunders for the IBF strap (Sturm has until Monday to decide).

Golden Boy Promotions is excited to announce the premiere of a new Los Jean Pascal and Bernard "The Executioner" Hopkins Announce Upcoming FightAngeles fight series adapted from the original Fight Night Club series set to launch exactly one month from today. The new series will take place monthly beginning Friday, March 6, 2015 from the historic Belasco Theater in downtown Los Angeles and will feature the future stars of boxing from Southern California in exciting, can’t-miss matches in an intimate setting. It will be featured as part of the highly rated show Golden Boy Live! on FOX Sports 1 and FOX Deportes.

Golden Boy Promotions Founder and President Oscar De La Hoya will host a press conference next week in downtown Los Angeles to unveil details for the new Fight Night Club series. Also in attendance will be Los Angeles’ undefeated super bantamweight prospect and 2012 U.S. Olympian Joseph “Jo Jo” Diaz Jr. who is set to headline the March 6 event. “The rebooted series will be the most unique sports and entertainment event in downtown Los Angeles every month, providing an experience unlike any other the city has to offer,” said Oscar De La Hoya, Founder and President of Golden Boy Promotions. “The series will give the hardcore fans, the casual fans and new fans the opportunity to get up close to the ring, to feel like they are part of the fight and enjoy the experience in a VIP club atmosphere. It has been a dream of mine to bring this exciting live event back to my hometown of Los Angeles.”

Golden Boy Live! is known for showcasing the brightest stars in the sport and the new Los Angeles based fight series will present these exciting matchups in a nightclub atmosphere with an original setup. The boxing ring will be set on the main floor of the Belasco Theater with on-camera standing room for fans in front of the ring similar to a concert pit, as well as, reserved balcony and floor seats. Los Anegeles’ own DJ Ray of Big Boy’s Neighborhood will spin music during the fights and fans will be able to dance and mingle with the fighters when the venue converts into a night club, in a VIP experience not matched by any promoter in the industry.

The series produced present-day boxing stars including Abner Mares, “Vicious” Victor Ortiz, Ronny Rios, Carlos Molina, Manuel “Tino” Avila, Fidel “The Atrisco Kid” Maldonado Jr., Jessie Vargas, Luis Ramos Jr. and many others who went on to become world champions, and some of whom are still in the running for title matches. The return of the rebooted live show will again be a platform for young talent to display their skills, entertain local family and friends, be showcased on national television and make steps towards their dreams of becoming world champions.

PBC Might Be Heading To ESPN
February 06, 2015

Reports are that Al Haymon's new boxing series "Premier Boxing Champions" maybe heading to ESPN.

Haymon announced his television deals, last month with NBC and Spike Tv. Like these two deals the supposed deal with ESPN is also part of a time buy by Haymon Boxing.

NBC's deal calls for 20 'Premier Boxing Champions' events for 2015. 11 of the 20 cards will be shown on NBC and the rest will be shown on NBC sports. The deal with Spike Tv Calls for 33 cards on Friday nights, 9 in 2015 and 12 per year in 2016 and 2017.

The deal with ESPN has no details available as of yet. Haymon's company will be paying for TV time. The series maybe held on ESPN or possibly ESPN2's Friday night Fight. Or possibly be aired on a different day of the week as Premier Boxing Champions. But none of this has been confirmed as of yet.

Haymon is just having it his way. With well over 150 fighters this is the best way for all his fighters to get seen more. According to BoxingScene.com Haymon is also in the process of a time buy deal with Telemundo, BET and CBS Sports.

More information will be given as it is released.

Who are you? Never seen you post here. Got Em!!

Yea and I think Floyd is 2 weight classes below lol so good point. Got Em!!
What does Floyd have to do with GGG lol

Speaking of, Andre Ward said he'd fight Floyd at 160, but he's not willing to do so with GGG.

GGG wants to unify the division but its getting increasingly difficult, if he doesn't get a unification bout by the end of this year I can see him going up in weight, too many pussies at 160.

I Want Fury Next - Deontay Wilder
February 07, 2015

Deontay Wilder (33-0, 32KO's) WBC heavyweight champion can't wait to get in the ring with EBU/WBO International/British champion Tyson Fury (23-0, 17KO's). After that he says he wants IBF/IBO/WBO/WBA heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (63-3, 53KO's).

Both Wilder and Fury have been throwing verbal shots back and forth with each other over twitter. Wilder won the WBC title back in January over Bermane Stiverne. Fury return to the ring against Christian Hammer at the end of this month at the O2 Arena in London.

Wilder told the Alabama News. "I've been calling him year and years. I think he's on of the exciting guys over in the U.K. and I'm doing my thing here in the USA. I think UK vs USA would be a great clash. Fury is who I want next, but boxing is a business many don't understand so it makes them frustrated. Some fights won't happen at the time that people want them and some fight will never happen, I'm trying to get every fight I want to happen at the right minimal time of it happening as well, too.
