So you guys are telling me that he can find bums at 160, but not @168 or 154. I get it now. Duh, I'm stupid.
Yes you are stupid. You have been told the same thing over and over. We have gone over 168 a millin and nine times now, 206 posted the reasons for not fighting Ward, yet you keep acting like a retard.

I'm glad you've realized your stupidity. Just like you love to say that GGG doesn't really care about belts then immediately point out Dominic Wade as a bum fight, not even realizing that the fight was made because Wade was an IBF mandatory that was enforced because no one wanted to unify with GGG and that was the only way the IBF would let him out of the fight.

So he doesn't actually care about titles except that he fought Wade to satisfy the IBF's terms. Saunders bitched out of a fight with him, so they were going to fight Tureano Johnson who was the actual mandatory and he got injured so down the list the IBF went to settle on Wade. But of course, none of that matters.

You're right it's proven to be so easy for GGG to secure fights he should've told Brook to fuck off because he clearly has a line of guys trying to fight him.

So your alternative is for Golovkin to fight a bum? lol

Look, he got turned down by four middleweights - Canelo (after wasting all year), Saunders the other belt holder , Danny Jacobs and now Eubank.

K2 took the only offer on the table. Fight in the UK on UK PPV against a well known guy with name, undefeated #1 welterweight, or walk away with nothing and hope to find someone else, which in all likelihood would be a "bum" which is exactly what you criticize him for fighting!

Brook isn't who Golovkin wanted. He said a few months ago that he wasn't interested in Brook because he's a welterweight. He made it clear he was focused on middleweight, which is exactly what he tried to do - Canelo, Saunders, Jacobs and Eubank. Those were the priorities and still are. He couldn't get any of them so he settled on Brook, who to his credit actually wants to fight Golovkin and has been calling him out all year.

It's one fight. He taps into the UK market which K2 has been trying to do for the last two years and this can make it easier to make future UK fights like DeGale at 168 who K2 say they want to fight, or perhaps Golovkin does so well in the UK it can generate more money for Billy Saunders to grow a pair.

What people should be pissed off about is the entire middleweight division being pussies. These guys duck Golovkin and won't even fight each other! Saunders turned down Danny Jacobs, Canelo wouldn't even fight a lesser middleweight and Eubank wouldn't even rematch Saunders or fight Danny Jacobs. It's a mess at 160 because the top guys are too afraid to fight anyone good, let alone fight Golovkin.

Never understood the criticism GGG gets. For people unfamiliar with the circus going on in boxing, you would get the impression he is persona non grata. If I was in his shoes, I would strongly consider retiring. It's not worth the stress. He has nothing to prove and has accomplished everything that he possibly can. Oh and one more thing, he should flat out reject every potential deal coming from Canelo and boxers alike (who have turned him down on multiple occasions). Yes it sucks for us boxing fans, but principles are principles. I would never view him in a bad light for it.

It's boxing itself that's fucked up. Because there are so many belts out there, critics can't identify who is the best in a weight class. So unifications of titles is the best way. The only problem now is that it still doesn't define how great a boxer is. The times have changed to where we want to see fighters truly challenge themselves. So it's cool that GGG wants to get all the titles in one weight class, but we already know he's the best at 160, period. He knows it. So instead of fighting someone from the 147 class, or wait on Canelo for a huge payday, a lot of boxing fans want to see him take a risky fight. The next logical fight was Ward but now we know he ducked Ward so it is what it is. Look at all the recent greats and they all went up in weight class. We bought those fights. No one is buying a GGG fight for a reason.

What an idiot.

Danny Garcia confirms he was offered Pacquiao fight and rejected it. Said he was offered $4 million guarantee but he deserves $10 million.

These clowns are so dumb. Bradley got $4m minimum + upside in his last fight with Pac. Brandon Rios less than that and so on. Likewise for Mayweather opponents of that caliber, Guerrero $3m guaranteed, Maidana $4 million for his rematch with Floyd and for the first fight just $1.5 million.

I don't know what these guys are expecting. The opportunity to fight Pacquiao is far bigger and better than anything Garcia is going to get any time soon. It's just dumb moves by Garcia & Broner. These guys think they should be getting $10 million paydays, which is crazy talk considering no one gets paid like that unless you are Mayweather/Pacquiao/Canelo/Cotto (i.e the biggest stars of the sport) and these guys Garcia and Broner aren't big time. But they'll be worth even more after the fight, especially if they got a win or just look good in an entertaining fight. Bad business.

The truth is, Broner isn't even worth $1 mill! Garcia is the champ but at the most $5 mill. It's gonna be between Vargas and Matthysse. I wouldn't be surprised if it were Khan though.

Garcia's biggest purse to date was $2m against Guerrero and before that he was typically getting between $1m to $1.5m. The only acceptable excuse is if he has inside knowledge he's getting a Mayweather fight, but the rumors are he's going to fight Berto so let's do the math - $2m max for Berto in a fight no one really cares about OR $4m + upside in a big PPV by far the biggest fight of his career? Goes with less money/less exposure lol great logic. Again though, if he knows he's getting Mayweather, ok cool. Broner on the other hand has no excuse.

There are a bunch of fighters these days that are self entitled cunts that turn down big fights because they price themselves out - Danny Jacobs wanting $4-$5m for a Golovkin fight, Saunders wanting $4m as well, as if any network would pay that kind of money when that is usually the purse for Mayweather/Pacquiao money! Santa Cruz demanding at least $3m to fight Rigondeaux and so on.

Meanwhile, One Time Keith Thurman said he'll gladly take that deal for a Pacquiao fight right now. He knows the deal, he knows how huge a Pacquiao fight is for his career and legacy, something most of these other PBC fighters apparently don't care about. I unfortunately for Thurman I don't see Top Rank offering him a fight with Pac. I think clearly if Pac comes back for a fight or two, it's not to prove he's the best or anything like that, just wants a nice paycheck against guys close to his own size and not too risky (hence offering fights to Garcia and Broner). They aren't going to put old past prime Pacquiao against some young hungry heavy hitter like Thurman or Spence, he's not out to prove anything just wants a decent fight for his fans and of course the money. He may not come back at all, we'll see though.
