I said that from day one but I'm delusional. That's why I asked 2-0-Sixx @2-0-Sixx about Cotto's situation with HBO, not TR. Cuz I know his promo company is under TR. The truth is, TR is taking very good car of Cotto Promotions and whatever they say Cotto will respect that. So it seems that the Cotto Canelo fight will indeed happen

idk cotto's situatio, I just figured he'd ride with HBO and Top Rank because Cotto said not long ago at all that he will remain loyal to Top Rank and wants to finish his career with Top Rank.

But he's also said numerous times he really wanted or wants a Mayweather rematch, seems like he truly believes he can beat him, so at the end of the day any loyalty he has to top rank could not be enough to prevent a Floyd rematch.

Which would pass me off. Exactly what I said would happen if Cotto beat Martinez - bunch of welterweights fighting at 155 catchweight for the middleweight crown, while real middleweights like Golovkin get shunned.

But the good news for Golovkin is that he is the mandatory to Cotto's WBC belt, so whether it be Floyd or Canelo, who is victorious must fight Golovkin or will be stripped (and labeled a coward for eternity lol).

But its a smart move on Haymon's behalf. Let's say talks are going on for Manny vs Floyd, then that means Stephen Espinoza is not getting involved which means him and Haymon are not doing what it takes to make big fights for Floyd happen. What Haymon is doing, if he is doing it, is saving Espinozas' ass cuz if Espinoza gets cut loose then Haymon will have to give Showtime the fights they want to see. Like what happened with HBO. But it's all up to Floyd.

it is smart, I'll never say Haymon isnt a smart dude. If they get Cotto for Floyd, that kills a major HBO fight and really the only fight that would out sell a Floyd PPV. Just sucks for fans though that boxing is more about power moves and one upping your rival rather than making the fights that make sense or what the fans really want to see.

If that report is true, and I have no way of knowing if it is or not so lets4b3 clear about that right now it may just be rumors, I guess that kills the idea that all these dudes are working on a Floyd Pacquiao fight next as well.

Ideally we should be getting :
Floyd vs Pac
Canelo vs Cotto (winner fights GGG)

Instead, and as usual, we get some weird mix up of it all that doesn't really make a whole lot of sense

I still don't see why you fools are blaming Haymon when the sanctioning bodies, athletic commissions and networks are the problem.

A dog shits on your lawn and it's Haymon's fault.
This guy gets knocked out and it's Haymon's fault.
This fight doesn't happen and it's Haymon's fault.
That fight doesn't happen and it's Haymon's fault.

Give it a rest, you cats are on some wild shit.
