Anyone go to boxing gyms in sac? I wanna join one but dont want to waste my time. I already went to ultimate fitness and a place in roseville.

Capitol boxing on stockton blvd but last time i went by there shit looked closed we'll see if some one else here knows whats up

capitol is closed .. check out mateen boxing in the old army depot.. the gym is real cool and laid back .. 80 bucks per month , unlimited access and they have classes 5 days a week and early saturday.... wbc heavyweight title holder oleg maskaev works out there.. just go in and talk to mateen . he is hella cool. he will fill you in more..

i used to work out at primetime boxing on del paso. its a cool little spot for people who are just starting. the owner used to be de la hoya's sparring partner. they are mostly about getting you a real intense work out, and teaching fundamentals. place is fucking expensive as shit though. i did two of their camps before i moved to frisco, and im glad i did, cause i learned some basic shit. the gym i train at here is frisco is pretty legit, one of the last remaining pure boxing gyms around the city.....i suggest anyone around the SCO who wants to get serious about it, that they check it out.

I used to box at the Washington Neighborhood Center back in the day. I think they're still open. Back when Tony Lopez trained there. They're on 16th and D is I'm not mistaken.
