So yea im at a swap meet in east l.a last weekend and came across some surenos sellin mixtapes and hip hop albums. And what do i find? Some bay rap u in der...Not alot. But the quality was extraordinary. They had it sealed in plastic..had the front and back covered photo copied (including the fbi warning)..It was some sophisticated bootleged albums... If they had the folds on the corners of the plastic wrap...i woulda thought it was the real thing.

But as far as bay rap all they had was BABY BASH & THE FEDERATION & keyshia cole....

The surenos and ms13 didnt know who keak,meesy,quin or even 40 was...They knew of TOO SHORT though.. I was suprised how big BABY BASH is in l.a he all over the radio & on t.v down der...

Im in LA about two to three times a year... bootlegs all over them swapmeets...thats for real. Alot of bay shit too if you look...

and Baby Bash.. that guy is famous as hell out there!! It seems everytime I hit there he's always out in the clubs doing some shit.. and always all over the radio too.. good for him!!!

Ive been to a few where I see all of the Thizz albums with copied covers(you can tell in was a cheap jpb) and sealed. There are also alot of other hip hop albums there but they had alsmost every mac dre release

kinda sad, I usally jack cds from people like that LOL

Here go an idea what it was lookin like,their was about 50 or so of these same exact kind of stands spread out across a few blocks. Some had just Spanish ranchero music, others just had dance top 40 stuff. These particular guys on camera prolly thought we was the a-team. I talked to about 3 dozen or so of them more in depth,and half of em dont know what they selling.Alota of the stands are linked together.

As far as the virgin mega store in Hollywood,from what i seen not much Bay rap up in der either But they got alotta the main stuff and old school classics .Pretty much all the new up to date Thizz catalog,bavgate,keak da sneak,c-bo,b legit,e-40 Thats all i remember seein after skimming thru the shelves...Where do people go to buy underground bay rap in the los angeles area?

This one el Salvadorian dude who i was puffin with on a rooftop tried to convince me suga free killed tupac.
