A true fan base? I follow Bay Rap, and from things I have seen, and the problem we have is that the BAY is still trying to relive the days of the past. You have artists on there who aint dropped no hot shit since the 90's. Whateverhappened to featuring new acts and artists? Its like you are stuck on a chosen few, come'on dog there are more people out here doin music other then b12,irocc,taydatay,lunisick, etc..... some of dem peeps dont even have a solo joint out. Jay Tee is still trying ride that In2Deep till you cant go back to the hotel no mo.... breathe some fresh air into it dog. Are they payingyou to be on it? are you tryimg to get a position in thier companies? Same old thing all the time. Just do some new stuff. like getting M-dash on ther is a start, ~New~ not the same names all the freegin time!!

yes i am a SURENO, so fuckin what, all them cats you named i actually know, and i know most of these raps cats out here in Cali, you may ahve a coupla good points in there, but simple fact is the artists that ive featured in "my" dvd have a good track record of moving units, i can dam well put anyone i choose on there, thats how it is when your a boss of your own shit, and naw, i dont need to be in anyones comany, i have my own, Certifyde Ent, YOLA FX, Infinite Images, i think thats enough for me as of now. And what i sell are advertising slots in the dvd also, like commercials or movie trailors, just like any other magazine, so take it however you want, its all to the good, at the end of the day i still see a check.
I have A LOT of good points. Did I hit a vunerable spot Phannie? Who are you that these peeps have to PROVE they have a following? All you need to do is keep your ear to the street and you shall hear the names, think outside the box you been working in. "Your" dvd is nothing fresh, nothing new, just the same folks all the time. When will you take a chance? try some new things, break-away from the norm? Its easy to have the same people on all projects, but you are just playing yourself. The streets (us fans) want new talent, fresh talent...You should know this! Some of the artists you have on there dont even have solo albums out, so where is thier "good track record of moving units" Its easy to move cut n paste comps all day, but even then that gets tired. That is my opinion. If you still dont want to reconsider breaking any "new" acts to the world thru your dvd that is coo. getting a check at the end of the day and being real in the music game are 2 different things. dont let others pull your strings, or you cannot call yourself phantom anymore, it will be more like puppet. *claps* so you are a sureno? so thats why you did not promote at the Raptalk bbq?
